They HELP the Rats by giving them a delay. By offering one, yes. It forces the Dems in the Senate to kill it or 0bama to veto it, hence owning the penalty. Clever politics, I suppose, but the entire rotten thing should be axed. That won't happen with this Senate.
There is, of course, the possibility that the Senate could pass it and 0bama could sign it. Always a downside when you're too clever by half.

Now is the time to REPEAL obamacare, not qualify it!
For me it is over for Republicans, I want a third party, it has been increasingly evident it cannot be reformed.
A third party could just be called the Tea Party, well some will say that guarantees the dems a win...
In those famous words...”At This Point What Difference Does It Make”!

The smart thing to do is to constantly remind the people that the Rats alone own Obamacare and that they are delaying it only for political reasons, not because they give a tinker’s damn about the people they represent.

Yep. And the Dems really don’t want that. I heard 0bamacare referred to as “bipartisan” the other day. The talking points are out.

Great minds DO run in the same circle----you've outlined my exact daydream:
......send the Repub bill to Reids desk and if he doesnt forward it for a vote, say he was responsible for e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g......then toss his sorry Demo'rat butt under the biggest bus out there, and back up over him....again and again....

Obamacare is broken....delaying for one year any part of it will not fix it...Obama is illegally whittling away at his Obamacare mess trying to help Democrats/Progressives run for reelection....and the House votes to help him...pretty stupid and all those who voted for Obamacare and not their nation's welfare will hopefully suffer not being elected. France is the perfect example
(of non-sustainable) idiocy.

......if Reid doesnt forward it to the Senate for a vote, toss his sorry butt under the biggest bus out there and back up over him....again and again......
......then shoot him with silver bullets, drive a stake through his heart, and cut off his head for good measure...
Gee, wish I had thought of that.

Why would the Republican led house vote to delay the individual mandate for one year? Why not let Obamacare crumble under it’s own weight? Is this a giant fix by the Republicans to keep this terrible law going? To allow this mandate to continue might just be the straw that broke the camel’s back, so why not let it continue? It looks like, despite all the rhetoric, the Republicans are in on the fix. Otherwise, why wouldn’t they just sit and watch it crumble? I grow more cynical by the moment!

Because the GOP is looking for a way to NOT look like they are in support of implementing Obamacare WHILE letting it be implemented to such a point that it can't be undone.
That way they can continue to manipulate conservatives into voting for them while pleasing their Big-Money Corporate Campaign donors, you know, the Chamber of Amnesty(Commerce) and others.
Typical GOP-E Trojan Horse behavior.

Actually send it to Reids desk and if he doesnt forward it for a vote, now go all out saying he was responsible for everything. Toss his sorry butt under the biggest bus out there and back up over him....again and again.Standing up and cheering your most excellent post.
