Oscar snubs are part of the annual Academy Awards tradition. Which actor or actress got denied a nomination?
Snubbing an actor who didn't make the Oscar ceremony's "in memoriam" segment is another matter.

Shirley Temple Black was not only a multi-talented actress, but she served as an ambassador to Ghana the the former Czechoslovakia. She was a member of the U.S. Delegation to the United Nations under President Nixon. This is to name just a few of her accomplishments.
The books Clancy wrote inspired movies. There are a lot of books that became movies.
I can understand a mention if the movie won an Oscar and the author also wrote the screenplay.
I thought you said he just appeared in television, and therefore not worthy. Now you’ve changed your tune.
You and I are in disagreement.
I see a double standard. Perhaps you don’t, and that’s okay. In the grand scheme of things, this is a minor point of contention.

That exchange NEVER fails to make me laugh. Thank you for posting.
You’re welcome. The scene where Robert Stack gets to the airport and battles past vendors, hippies, panhandlers, Scientologists, etc. is what does it for me.

Blah blah blah
Take it up with the Church
Of course you do, KC.
Oh and also, it was only $8.
Now I have a question: Do you think I’ll “get it”?
the plot,,,the storyline?
Flight attendant carrying guitar down aisle, two girl scouts fighting in bar, Mrs. Cleaver talkin’ jive, and the list goes on and on. :^)
I’m not sure why I’d need to take “it” up with the church. What, exactly? Shirley Temple Black? Oscars?
I’m not sure about that. I believe there have been awards presented to independent projects and I have to wonder whether or not all individuals were members.
His books were great and popular years before they ever made one into a film..
Though Hunt for Red October will always be my favorite ..
What about Dennis Farina ?
Exactly.
I think I’ve read that book 5 or 6 times, and I STILL enjoy it! Love the Air Force guy on Iceland!
She also beat out Clark Gable and others for the most popular movie star in Hollywood....did it for I don’t know how many years!
She had class-—not like the Satanists, who control the Oscars and worship and reward evil and perversions, only. Any thing “Good” is reviled......like the light to cockroaches.
I’m just speaking of making the “In Memoriam” reel. I do know they start with a list of over a hundred and get it down to 25 or so. And for what it’s worth, being nominated automatically gets you membership.
Oh my!
