In order to become a US citizen, immigrants must pass the Naturalization Test. American citizenship bestows the right to vote, improves the likelihood of family members living in other countries to come and live in the US, gives eligibility for federal jobs, and can be a way to demonstrate loyalty to the US.
Applicants must get 6 answers out of 10 in an oral exam to pass the test. According to US Citizenship and Immigration services, 92 percent of applicants pass this test.
You must get 58 or more of these test questions correct in order to pass.

Not a problem. 99% of the questions are extremely easy. The rest are easy.

Wish that had to be passed (in English) each time before someone could vote.

Citizenship should require at least that level of knowledge *AND* military service, IMHO.

Birth right citizenship is a luxury we can longer afford. Everyone should have to pass this test to gain their citizenship born here or not. It would certainly cut most of the illiterate, low information types from the voter rolls and jury pools.I agree. Because the politicians have allowed illegals to infiltrate our country with impunity, everyone should be beaten until it stops.

I know someone who said there are 57 states. He claims to be a citizen.
If he’s not a citizen, then he’s the biggest fraud in the world.

I got only one wrong:
What is the name of the U.S. economic system?
a) Capitalism
b) Socialism
c) Communism
d) None of the above.
Actually, I didn’t get it wrong. I actually got it right, but the authors of this idiotic test had a different opinion. So they wouldn’t accept “D” as the right answer (which it is).

I'm having trouble with #18. I'm trying to decide between 2 and 3.
18. What is the "rule of law"?
ߦ Everyone must follow the law.
ߦ Everyone but the President must follow the law.
ߦ Government does not have to follow the law.
ߦ All laws must be the same in every state.

Everyone should have to pass this test to gain their citizenship born here or not. Could not agree more. Ignoramuses who are born here are, as of now, still a much bigger problem for our country than are the illegals.

99%, missed the Cabinet question- figured the SecNav was of higher priority than DHS.
Noted that several questions are popular misrepresentations of history though- Lincoln saved the union (at the expense of the republic-his own words), and that the Emancipation Proc freed the slaves- A president doesn’t make laws (recall that question)? but the 13th/14th Amendments in fact made slaves free and citizens etc.
A lot of non-important questions, but fun nonetheless.

95 out of the 96. Put 1789 instead of 1787 for the U.S. Constitution.
