Secretary of State John Kerry Sunday challenged the notion that President Vladimir Putin went ahead and seized control of Ukraine’s Crimea on the assumption that President Obama would do nothing in response. Russia was not operating from “a position of strength,” he declared.
Appearing on three Sunday talk shows, Kerry said Russia’s actions were reminiscent of “19th century” behavior, and warned that possible consequences could include G8 isolation of Russia, visa bans and sanctions.
He acknowledged that Putin “may be able to have his troops for some period of time in Crimea,” but said that Russia would ultimately “lose.” …

Putin seized Crimeria because he KNEW Obama wouldn’t respond.
In the pilot world, we call Obama a limp-d**k...that is, if he indeed has one at all.

They control Democrat Legislators, they control the imbeciles that vote for them, and they control the Federal Government for the most part and pull new laws and interpretations out of their ass daily it seems.
They also control Hollywood, academia and the media - wholly and irrevocably. They, with their White House talking point faxes control dissemination of every news item in this country and put their perverted spin on it willy nilly.
What they cannot do, however, is grow a pair and react responsibly in the face of Putin’s actions. They cannot because they are not. Not by a long, long shot.

Putin did what everyone in his position (except perhaps 0bama) does: made a rational assessment of 0bama’s likely responses based on resources, past performance, and stated policy. All of those indicated that 0bama would do nothing. And they are accurate.

Yup. Obama and Kerry are totally down with what Putin is doing in Eastern Europe.
Kerry has been working pretty much his entire adult life towards this goal.
What is bothering both Kerry and Obama is the fact that the both of them are being completely and publicly humiliated , embarrassed and discredited on the world stage.
Putin wouldn't have seized Crimea if he just "thought" obama wouldn't respond.
He seized Crimea because he was CERTAIN obama wouldn't effectively respond.

Hillary and the rest of her genius foreign policy ‘experts” wanted a rest, but they obviously never really gave much though on when Putin and the Russians would rest to - like say, Prague in the Spring of 1968 and back in the USSR
