Outlaw train stations

Clearly they lead to violence

This happened in Yunnan Province, so I doubt Muslims were involved. The Yunnanese don’t particularly like the Chinese either, though.

Since no information is given on the attackers, it’s generally safe to assume that they belong to the religion of peace.

Ugly photographs and nasty situation. I am sure most of our comments will be about the American gun control debate, but I hope we don’t overlook the sadness so many families must feel today over the loss of their loved ones.

This is terrorism and I doubt any of the victims created the anger that led to this.

They probably used high capacity automatic knives.

It's those gol darned assault knives again--not one of the murderers had to stop to reload.

Maybe machetes rather than knives?

With pistol grips!

And the dreaded "30 Stab" clips!

“Muzzie attack?”

Could be. Muslims constitute a large paret of the population in western China.

According to my wife, who can read Chinese, they were ‘Long Knives’. I’m thinking machetes too...

The Chinese police shot and killed 3, but there were probably more who managed to escape.

2011 Kashgar attacks
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
2011 Kashgar attacks

Date July 30–31, 2011
Target Civilians
Attack type Vehicular, IED and knife attack
Weapon(s) Explosives, truck, guns, knives
Deaths 23 (Day one: nine, including one attacker; Day two: 14, including eight attackers)
Injured (non-fatal) 42 (Day one: 27; Day two: 15, including three police)[1]
Perpetrators East Turkestan Islamic Movement
The 2011 Kashgar attacks were a series of knife and bomb attacks in Kashgar, Xinjiang, China on July 30 and 31, 2011. On July 30, two Uyghur men hijacked a truck, killed its driver, and drove into a crowd of pedestrians. They got out of the truck and stabbed six people to death and injured 27 others. One of the attackers was killed by the crowd; the other was brought into custody. On July 31, a chain of two explosions started a fire at a downtown restaurant. A group of armed Uyghur men killed two people inside of the restaurant and four people outside, injuring 15 other people. Police shot five suspects dead, detained four, and killed two others who initially escaped arrest.
The government says the attackers confessed to Jihadist motives and membership in the terrorist group East Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM), while an overseas pro-Uyghur independence group says the attackers were frustrated by a lack of options for nonviolent antigovernment protest. Businesses temporarily closed down and riot police patrolled the city until August 4. ETIM acknowledged responsibility for the attack on September 8, as well as for the attack in Hotan earlier that same July. Six men were given prison or death sentences for their involvement in both attacks later in September.

I used to go out there on business travel. All this gun control crap is just that. They have tight gun laws. BUT I noticed in the press they find another weapon of choice when they have the “need”, this being knives, cleavers, hatchets, hammers etc.
