(AFP)A Russian warship was docked in Havana Wednesday, without explanation from Communist Cuba or its state media.
The Viktor Leonov CCB-175 boat, measuring 91.5 meters (300 feet) long and 14.5 meters wide, was docked at the port of Havana's cruise ship area, near the Russian Orthodox Cathedral.
The ship is reportedly armed with 30mm guns and anti-aircraft missiles.

With that onboard antenna farm, it’s an AGI.
Great. Just great. We need a commander-in-chief with nerves of steel and all we've got is a community organizer with a pen and a phone.
Wow. Thanks for your input. The fact that you said that “Havana is home to a lot of active Roman Catholic parishes” is also surprising to me. I had the impression that the mass-murdering commie monster Che killed all Catholic priests.
“The hierarchy of the Church in Havana were often guests at our mission diplomatic functions.”
That’s good to hear.
Why isn’t Casrto dead yet? I want to see torrents of tears by Hollywood pukes so I can show up and laugh at them. I want to be present at a memorial for Castro with Sean Penn there and punch his squeaky mouse-face in.
Take care, FRiend.
Sometimes ships are like books - don’t judge them by the outside appearance.
My bad eyesight acted up, I thought that said “boobs” at first
Oh, what a great picture. A piece of s#!t soviet car in front of a piece of s#!t soviet boat.
Looks like something is going on and something planned some time in advance. Putin may have some cleverness set up for Mr. Obama—or it might be aimed at someone else. We shall need to wait and see what developes.
Surely, this must have crossed one of President wussy’s pink lines. What an embarrassing clown.
Directing an EMP to its target does not require any more "mean electronic looking thingies" on top of your boat than for guiding any other bomb.
I do not assume to know everything this ship is capable of performing.
Been a long time since I’ve seen an AGI. I guess it is too boring looking a ship for Breitbart so they had to put up photo of a scary destroyer with the article.
Not great cars, but basic and easy to work on. I think they were based on the Fiat 124.
A buddy of mine bought a used 4-door Lada for $600.00 in the early ‘80s. It came with a large set of tools, such that you could do all the repairs you would ever need to do on it. He drove it 40 miles each way, 4 times a week for several years. Aside from 60 pounds of Bondo applied over during that time, he had little maintenance to do on the car. After 4 years, he kept the tool kit and sold it for $600.00. For him, it was a ‘Lada’ car for very little money!
Yes, the Lada Riva was basically a license-built FIAT 124.
And now the Cuban government is not afraid of the U.S.

A single worthy product by Lada is a 1977 Niva - a first ever unibody crossover SUV.
A dirt-cheap three-door sub-compact wagon, featuring all the locks and off-road transmission in base model.
I think they are still building it.
Why do the Ruskies need a spy ship? They can walk into the U.S. anytime they want and get what ever they need from any liberal demodummy in Washington. They would certainly have saved a lot of money outfitting that ship
Yes, the Niva is still being built as a co-product of AutoVaz and GM.
AFAIK, Chevrolet has bought both a trademark and a production line for a 1998 Lada Niva in 2002 and builds it to sell as a Chevy-Niva in Eastern Europe and Central Asia ever since.
About that time in 2002 Lada restarted a 1977 Niva, initially cancelled in Russia and outsourced for production and distribution in Peru, Egypt and Kazakhstan in 1998. As far as a name is now belongs to Chevrolet they are marketing an old one as Lada 4x4.
