This is an old propaganda technique, a person of authority is telling you, who is seeing or experiencing a problem, that you are an isolated case!

If we had an effective opposition party, these types of statements, coupled with the testimony of the victims of ObamaCare, would be distilled into television ads, coordinated internet-based messages. In every debate, townhall meeting, and press conference, Democrat candidates would be called upon to either distance themselves, or justify these types of statements. Every Republican pundit would bring it up at every opportunity, every grassroots movement would be encouraged to help, and every candidate would be encouraged to hammer these statements home. This is what the Democrats would do, and it would be effective. By the end of this campaign, Reid would be as reviled as any man could be.
But we don’t have an effective opposition party. We have McConnell and Boehner.
Some horror stories are false. And I bet the democrats planted them so they can cast doubt on all Obamahorror stories.

Recently I got into an online argument with a flaming liberal. I thought I was finally rid of him when he came back to our message board debate to post a link to a 2012 mother jones article on the koch brothers and how much they were spending on the political process. In turn I posted the above gateway pundit link. I thought I had the last word. But a week later he comes back to tell me that its all propaganda. That list is phony. That the list doesn’t include all their shadowy money, etc. And the koch brothers are number one in political spending.
Sigh. Liberals. What are you going to do?

That's a desperate political tactic which only works with a core base of "true believers." Everyone who has experienced one of the horror stories and their friends know that Reid is lying, and worse yet calling them a liar.
Its hard to imagine that Reid and his cohorts in the Democratic party want to spend between now and November answering the following question every time they appear in public:
"Last year I lost my insurance policy, and now I have to pay more and I don't have any out of network coverage. To me that's a very real problem. Your colleague and fellow Democrat Harry Reid says I am a liar, and that people like me and my family who have had real problems with Obamacare are lying. Do you agree with him? If not what are you going to do about him and his lying if you get elected?
So if you are one of those people whose experience with Obamacare has been a horror show, you know what to do at those town hall meetings, meet and greet sessions, and every other campaign event or talk show you can find.
