Sarah Palins tweet was simple enough. Enough is enough, she wrote. So, I clicked on the link thinking Id read yet another mindless yet lengthy musing from Mama Grizzly. Not sure why, but I was disappointed to read the equivalent of cotton candy. It was a mouthful whose substance disappears the moment you start to chew on it.

Enough is enough...
The permanent political class in D.C. wont listen. So, lets start putting our efforts behind good new candidates who will go to Washington not to line their own pockets, but to help restore our country. Its time to put inspiration, ingenuity, and integrity over incumbency in the GOP.
For a Republican Party already living in fear of its far-right flank, pronouncements from Palin cant be helpful. Its not that she holds as much sway today as she did as the 2008 vice presidential nominee. Theres just no denying that she gives voice to the fear-driven incoherent dissatisfaction gripping the base of the GOP....

I wonder how many people here will click on the link and read the rest of the article.
Self descriptive of Capeheart's blog post.
If the entire media doesn’t stand up together in protest to Obama’s idea of news room monitors this country may never come out of the trap he has set. Hillary would ratchet this effort way up.
I dont read anything from the Washington Compost..Id normally say I wouldnt wipe my a@@ with it but even my a@@ deserves something better to be wiped with
I really wish Palin would put some meat on those tired Republican platitudes. Restore our country? To what? And dont give me the line of nonsense about President Obama operating outside the necessary confines of the Constitution. Inspiration, ingenuity, and integrity mean nothing if those admirable qualities arent accompanied by a willingness to compromise as part of the lost art of governing, which requires one to put the good of the republic over the reactionaries in ones home district. As we know, the far-right folks who have stormed Washington since 2010 care not for governing and hold compromise in even lower regard. Enough is enough, indeed.

Can I barf now?
That’s why I wrote my comment. But, yeah, a bunch still won’t do it.
>>It was a mouthful whose substance disappears the moment you start to chew on it.
Is he talking about vague things like “Hope and Change”, “Change We Can Believe In”. Or cotton candy like a vaguely metrosexual, but married-with-two-children; not quite white, but not really black either; maybe Muslim, maybe Christian politician who voted Present for most his career? That kind of cotton candy?
Enough is enough, but what she suggested isn’t enough.
This isn’t going to be solved via elections.
1 they are too slow, and 2 people lie.
This is going to be solved via Article V civilly, or...
We either control this beast right now, or we will be controlled by this beast.
We have been passive and nice too long.
This current media openly campaigned for the “One”. They are openly campaigning for Hillary.
They are populated with people who are too uneducated to take on a real job and/or are completely ignorant of the history of dictators and how they acquire power.
The only media that will get it are the current targets. The compliant media will be tomorrow’s targets.
And they still won’t get it.
and so it begins...
That was outlawed on FR a ways back...maybe in 2009?
Well I for one always click the link. Otherwise how else can you tell when it’s legit news or opinion vs. the usual nonsense spewed by Joe Blow the Bloggster?
These people always tell us by their words and targets who they really fear. That’s why they’re not pinging off the walls every time Mike Huckabee tweets something.
Palin drives them up the wall because she is consistently conservative, unafraid to say what needs to be said, and knows how to do so in a way that tweaks their noses and infuriates them to the point that they just can’t help but respond.
I did. Anything you wanted to call attention to?
Isn’t it AMAZING how the writer of this screed NEVER thinks that the problem with the GOP might be the so-called LEADERSHIP?!
I am NOT one calling for Boehner’s head, and I don’t hate Mitch McConnell. But I totally agree that they need to be PUSHED to the right if they won’t go there on their own, and if they have to do that to keep their jobs, then that is fine with me.
I am happy that liberal Democrats got punished for going along with Obama in 2010, and I think anyone who ignores their base OUGHT to pay the price.
By the way, weren’t we told after the 2008 election that Sarah Palin was finished, over, never going to be a force...hmmm....how’d that work out, Washington and media elites?
One more shot: the “Washington Post”? What is the trend of that rag’s circulation?
Very powerful graphic.
