I do, of course, have a story about Beau Biden....think I might have told before.

It was in 2004 or thereabouts, cause I still smoked.

I was covering the GOP table at the Delaware state fair and don’t you know along comes Beau Biden. The guy I’m volunteering with tells me who it is. Beau (this was BEFORE his strokes) heads outside right as I was doing the same, me in pursuit of a smoke.

To my surprise I find myself sharing a cigarette with who? BEAU BIDEN!

Seriously folks, this was a very funny guy. No I didn’t have a camera or recorder...I don’t think I even had a cell phone then. But Beau’s telling me funny stories about his Dad...and me without even a pen and paper.

We ended up sharing political stories and such for over an hour...hand to God.

It was neat. If I see him I’ll tell him it’s great to see him again.

Oh, and another story....I go to get a mammogram...new medical place opened up in Georgetown, of course. “It’s on Biden Way,” the lady on the phone tells me.

Serious? Biden Way?

So I got get the mammorgram and something called a bone density test. I complain to everyone in the joint about it being on Biden way...who the hell came up with that?

Because TAXPAYERS paid for that road, NOT any Biden of any stripe. This sort of thing is looked down upon of late.

ALL of those people told me how they hated that name, how they just used the name of the street behind the parking lot as they hated Biden way so much.

How about these politicos....thinking they should have streets named after THEM?

Karl Rove did a good job pointing out Ted Strickland's (the former "Governor Smudge" of Ohio) role in dirty tricks related to Joe the Plumber, but he was way too polite. It probably won't stick to Strickland. However, we should all refer to Ted "Gov Smudge" Strickland in the future, so people will have to ask why.

And the panel segment on FNS right Rove and Gov Smudge basically had an undertone that explained the Obama path to 2008; get in before the dirty stories come up, because both Hillary and Chris Christie have them. I wonder if that means that Princess Liawatha from Mass will be the liberal favorite in 2016.

Marsha Blackburn did an excellent job of bringing some actual facts to the debate.

Loved it when Gregory tried to challenge her attempts to argue with Bill Nye, “the scientist.” She responded that Nye was not a scientist, he is an actor and an engineer. Zing!

Bill Nye got his start on a comedy show on Seattle TV; now he is an Authority on the science of ‘climate change’!

Great stuff way to win!

We are winning a different battle down here using different methods.

We have a new Florida digital director and he's brilliant. Andrew Malik. He spoke to our Republican group yesterday for an hour about how to use facebook/twitter the rest. He's got it down and we will beat Charlie Crist going away.

The Marxist enviros won’t let them build desalt plants. It might hurt a speckled frog?

Figures.

Meanwhile on MTP F. Chuck wants to table the political debate about GW since their side can't win.

Typical dem tactic. Lets just say we won and then move on. Just too good.

The only thing standing between 25% unemployment and a recovery is the man in the Whitehouse.

You have to add the media to this.  Were it not for the media he would be held accountable.  The media is a huge culprit here.  Also, the Democrat US Senate which refuses to take up House bills and the Democrats in general who not only allow this usurpation of power but their embracing it since they cannot win on their positions alone.

Mascara wands - LOL! Make sure you apply yours before you leave home. Also, be sure to leave your pistol and box cutter at home, too!

I’m sure that the “lowly blogger” that you are will manage to write an exceptional article on your interview with the Sheriff. Would love to see her face when she sees that he’s agreed to it and she reads the article.

Wish someone would ax these brilliant scientists, “How can any science be settled?”

Isn’t by definition it constantly must be proved and Global Warming is far from proven?

Yeah, I don’t like mango either, except mango chutney. I had mango ice cream once...yech!

So what about Thai curries, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese and other Asian fare?

What about Middle-eastern dishes, Cuban fare, Jamaican jerk...Haggis?

By the way...I fully believe that the various renditions of Texas chile are actually by definition....curries.

I thought the crowning moment of that interchange between Nye, dnc Dave and Blackburn was when Marsha challenged the concept of GW and DNC Dave panicked big time and stepped in all but calling her a RW denier. The hard left is totally invested in GW and they promote it just as they do obamcare on strictly a junk science or emotional basis. Never on its merits. On the merits of either one they always lose and they hate losing.

Mr Rogers is exactly the character he spoofed on Almost Live! which was the Seattle version of Saturday Night Live. He did elaborate set-ups that were similar to what teachers would do for science class in grade school. They usually ended in something as ‘spectacular’ as the exploding soda bottle, or a pile of debris on the stage.

Love these spices. I buy whole, toast then grind the:

Coriander and Cumin Rubbed Pork Chops

“Chops rubbed with a simple but flavorful spice and garlic mixture. For an even more potent result, toast and grind the spices yourself.”

Ingredients:
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon ground coriander
3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
2 boneless pork loin chops
ground black pepper to taste

Directions:
1. Mix the salt, cumin, coriander, garlic, and 1 tablespoon olive oil to form a paste. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper, and rub with the paste.
2. Heat the remaining olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, and cook the pork chops about 5 minutes on each side, to an internal temperature of 145 degrees F (63 degrees C). Serves 2

Great catch bud!

With the media always taking the side of the manchurian and his chicago mobsters truth is constantly distorted. From obacare to GW to the economy.

It's up to us to right those wrongs using the New Media.

Good going, bray!

The Sounder Train that the Dims just HAD to HAVE up here doesn’t run from Everett south half the time due to mud on the tracks, breakdowns or whatever. From what I’ve heard, very few people take the train.

We decided to take it once to a Seattle Sounders (soccer) game. There were points to get on closer for us, but the geniuses that created this, failed to include any areas for parking at many of the stopping points. So, we drive to the airport and the parking lot for the train was full. We drove around, finally found a parking lot not too far, paid a higher fee, parked and walked to catch the train. I will say it was full, but I think the primary use for the trains up here is for sporting events. I suspect it probably gets use for those coming from Everett to downtown Seattle or south of there (when it runs/works).

Hope you can save the boondoggle in OR and they’ll cut off the one in CA.
