The Talk Shows
February 16th, 2014
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Mitt Romney; Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Jim DeMint, president of the Heritage Foundation; Gov. Pat McCrory, R-N.C.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Gov. Pat McCrory, R-N.C., Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, Actor Kevin Spacey.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.
The slurs are thrown in with as much factual certainty as summer is warmer than winter, or adults are larger than children.
This is because to the writers of these shows they are stating "facts."
It happens in popular novels, too. And hits one of my nerves every time.
TEApartiers ARE Republicans, and they're doing the right thing; Supporting the platform and trying to reclaim control of the party.
There's nothing wrong with the brand, other than that it's been usurped by the left.
Okay SC....yeah, I called. We got to report....without mascara wands.
Again, why do I think this will bring me yet more “notoriety”?
Oh....and guess what else? I got me an interview with the Sheriff of Sussex county.
Which is no big deal except I asked an upcoming candidate for Governor if she could arrange an interview. She said “he won’t do an interview with ‘just’ a Blogger.”
so I figured, well the hell with him.
This guy is a big controversial figure here in Sussex, not to forget that the councilman who fell out of the sky kicked this Sheriff in the gonads two years ago cause you can’t make this up. Very newsworthy guy.
So he makes a comment on one of my friends or such on Facebook and I write that he should let me interview him. I sent him a friend request and in a nano-second he got back to me.
He couldn’t wait to send me his email, phone...”any time” he says.
Yeah....I’m not a nobody Blogger any more am I?
But fair, folks....FAIR! I will always be fair.
Hi RG!
Agree (though I’m not sure we need them in Western WA - - we do get quite a bit of water here from rain and snow melt/run through the rivers).
Part of the problem is still the government meddling in CA and OR - allowing influence by environmental wacko groups
OR:

Same thing they did to a lot of the timber industry in parts of WA state to save the Spotted White Owl.
Well, there's about a million different curries. I assume you've tried them all?
Of course there is no debate in academia, that is what is wrong with agenda driven science. Where is the proof Bill?
What you won't hear in the news: Several states (e.g. California) have already borrowed heavily against unpaid future tobacco settlement income that will never be remunerated by the tobacco companies.
The tobacco settlement money is only paid when the tobacco companies earn a minimum revenue. As tobacco sales continue to decline, the future leveraged payments will not occur.
You are red hot today Rock good stuff.
LOL!
Sorry, no can do - -no way I can use hail and Obummer in the same sentence, unless it was something like: it was a dark, stormy winter day and Obama was getting pounded with hail the size of golfballs [NSA & SS please note: this from a woman who isn’t into physical violence or abuse and wishes no actual harm on the Prez].
I’ll just go sit in a corner and put myself in a timeout for a few minutes.
Oh yeah I’m fully award of the smelt story and all the other abuses of the EPA and the wacko environmental marxists but when we get a clear path to challenge them as we can with desalt plants I think we should do it. They hate solutions to problems. They thrive on controversy where they can blame us.Let’s take that away.
RL...I don’t think I’ve tried but one curry...yellowish stuff.
I’ll not bother trying any more cause I just don’t like it.
I once had an employee from India. Nice guy, wanted to impress me. Once he brought in some sliced mango and told me to take a bite. I did.
Lookit, I don’t know what’s in a mango but it was the most horrible fruit I ever tasted.
Meanwhile the employee’s smiling and asking me if it isn’t good....
Nope.....not going to do Indian food although hey, in a pinch I got some Cumin and Coriander.
LOL to both of your posts.
AB - is that one of the special herbs you grow in your lovely garden? Along with cumin and coriander, that might go well in your homemade Tacos, too ;-)
DNC Dave now doing his best to pretend that global warming is all the fault of fossil fuels(which don’t exist) what a putz. Marsha Blackburn doing her best to get the truth out but they don’t want truth they want a leftitst agenda.
Fish, we have forced an election to stop Light Rail in a town that will be a complete roadblock to the entire system. The elitist planners are so freaked out it will win they had a townhall to drum up support which failed dramatically. We had 20 people speak and they had 4 while we beat them like rented mules.
Now we have the town covered with our signs and a mailer going out this week. If we win this it will devastate the anti-car brigade in Oregon. We are using my campaign system and will win handily. Stay tuned.
Our signs:

I totally agree! It would be great to see a good movie with a Pubbie Prez and a mean Dim congress, etc. Jon Voght would be great in such a film (he’s a good actor and conservative).
The Marxist enviros won’t let them build desalt plants. It might hurt a speckled frog?
Great catch. Cash hungry socialist govts. need revenue from pot to replace their cigarette money, just too much.Maybe they should try capitalism. It produces tax revenue as well.
We have several nuclear carriers in mothballs. They could dock them in CA and provide nuclear desalinated fresh-water for the festering moonbat RATs.
They could put up a banner that said "Mission Accomplished" and have Dubya drop by. (OK I may have gone a little too far with that)
