I’ve wondered that, too.

What if Groucho didn’t make it into heaven? Would that mean no Marx Brothers’ movies in heaven?

uhm maybe you need to refresh your memory of the parables dealing with situations such as you described where sinners are redeemed and are entitled to an eternity in Heaven- and rememeber Christ Himself spoke these parables -And remember the good thief as well ? he was a common criminal crucified next to Christ and he acknowledged Christ as the Messiah and Redeemer -what did Christ tell him ?
so all I can quickly come up with are the parable of the prodigal son,and the 1 of a group of laborers in a vineyard and everyone got the same wages paid even those that showed up hours later and did less work.
God’s Law and God’s ways.

While there is a Hell and many will go there I tend to be persuaded by the argument that in each individual case it is up to God to put people in hell. Human judgment is suspect as to what specific individual will or will not go there. Is drug addiction a sin? It is perhaps a sin only by analogy to drunkenness. Biblical people did not know of morphia and its derivatives and God did not bring it up. I don’t know only God does. By the way of course the media’s moral judgment is degenerate and ultimately evil and hopefully people will wake up and suppress its foulness.

Good grief. Do people actually sit around and think this crap up?!?!?! YES Mr. Dummy, this guy is going to hell if he never accepted Christ as his LORD and Savior! Period. There IS NO OTHER WAY. I think Yeshua made that plain and simple in the Bible.

Maybe he made peace with his Maker before expiring, we’ll never know. But it’s difficult to imagine a guy who died with a needle in his arm resting in peace.

Well, we know better, really. What really is crazy is this. Where were ALL his so-called “friends” when he was tanking? Where were they to encourage rehab, or to take time for him? It’s all well and good to eulogize someone who made a contribution to your trade, but why do so many of them unwind like a spinning top, anyway? We see daily proof of the wrecked lives of our current pop generation. Really, they could ALL do with a lot less attention to their every antic. Maybe some would have the courage to actually attend to them and try to help, but to openly do so these days is to taint yourself. WHat happened to compassion for a co-worker? Well, he got his praise and fame here, and I guess that is something, when you consider that it is highly unlikely he will find any in the next life.

Our culture is showing its death spiral. Those of us who are believers...we have a huge job ahead of us. Most are going to Hell, and we will be complicit if we are not sharing our faith. It may not be welcome to many, but that should not be a deterrent.

Wow! I’m glad I now know that Doug Giles is God and that he can send people to Hell.

Only God knows who is going to Hell. It could even be that the perfect Doug Giles is on his way there.

In the meantime, never forget: “Between the saddle and the ground is mercy sought and mercy found.”

And in 2012 at the democRAT national convention in Charlotte, NC the delegates denied G-d three times. Oh, and they booed Israel too...but that's another story.

St. Peter denied the Christ three times, and now stands guard at the gates of Heaven. Loved by G-d.

St. Peter, who loved Jesus, was crucified upside down.

Think about it...

In Revelation 12:9 the Bible tells us Satan is “who deceives the whole world.”

It appears very likely Hollywood is one of his favorite methods, and fooling people to commit acts which lead to eternal separation from God is the enemy’s goal.

In Matthew 7:13-14 the Lord tells us “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

Broad is the way that leads to destruction.

So he really expects that local news and the entertainment media are going to lead with "Philip Seymour Hoffman is now rotting in hell"?

All addicts are "nice guys" and "great people".

I think that is basically because what they do while actively addicted is just so "un-nice" that whenever they are doing anything, seemingly normal they get twice the credit a non-addict would get.
