“It doesn’t matter what they do in office? As long as they have an R next to their name, it’s all good.”

No all isn’t good. But any Republican is better than any Democrat regardless of what the Republican does in office. Backing candidates who can’t win contributes to another two years of Harry Reed running the Senate.

We all want to vote for someone who best matches our preferences. We all want the most conservative Senate we can get. The only path to that objective is too put candidates into the general with the best chance of winning. Any Republican is better than any Democrat.

“Any Republican is better than any Democrat.”

You mean Mark Kirk? John McCain? Graham? Boehner? McConnell? Sorry man. You are advocating for us to vote for more traitors. The GOP elites will choose the Dems interests before us every time. Once they are in there, they stay and fight...with us. Look at them on amnesty. This sham has gone on for a long time. No way we need more of it.

If you have the formula to predict 100% the success or failure of a candidate, please share with us. There is no way to predict this. Our batting average is pretty damn good the past two cycles. The establishment-preferred candidates are far from 100%, either. A lot of the McConnell/Cornyn preferred candidates got trounced. A lot of candidates they campaigned against won handily. Paul, Rubio, Cruz and Lee come to mind immediately, who all were opposed by the leadership in favor of ‘more electable’ candidates.

We’ll win some and lose some as a party and as a conservative movement. Selecting good candidates is obviously important, but defaulting the party favorite is no guarantee of victory and doesn’t even change the odds of picking up a seat.

That ignores what they do in office. We had a 55 seat majority mid-Bush term, and they failed because there were less than three conservatives. We have to grow the conservative caucus or we gain nothing.

Lesser of two evils is still evil. Mitch does not deserve to continue to serve. He is too good at surrendering and lacks principles. Go Ben!!

No, a Republican isn't better than a Democrat if that "Republican" will backstab constitutional conservatives. Think of what Ted Cruz could've accomplished if it weren't for McCain and the other traitors not standing with him.

Have you been drinking the RINO KoolAid?
