Too bad I didn't see this before I responded to your brick wall. Would have saved my fingers!
Coca-Cola was the epitome of all that was evil about corporate America.
Now, because of this advertisement, they are having a love fest for Coke.
The juvenile Coke executives that approved of that commercial knew exactly what they were doing and only did it to poke a stick in the eye of conservatives and the lovers of the USA in general. Corporate board rooms are replete with spoiled Ivy League-rs that have been indoctrinated in cultural Marxism and gloBULLism. The commercial itself was pathetic.
If I had a gay student,
Thank you.
***Not only does the company support abortion, but their product is used as an abortifacient.***
I remember reading about this years ago in the book EVERYTHING YOU WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT SEX BUT WERE AFRAID TO ASK.
The premise was Coke works as an after sex douche, but if you wait a few weeks, your body can absorb CO2 from it and it can kill you, if you are pregnant.
anyone have an english official language of state map?
Coca Cola’s ‘America the Beautiful’ Super Bowl commercial angers conservative pundits
Incorrect statement.
The disgusting ad angered Americans. Period!
How is Coke-a-Cola going fix this mess?
This commercial cost them money.
their CEO does not “get it”.
does their BOD?
Anyone remember the “buy the world a coke” commercial?
It was just stupid all the way around. So Coke wants to sell their crap soda in South America and the Middle East. The last thing you would think they would do was use America the beautiful to do so.. Doesn’t make any sense...
Sure as hell isn’t going to raise sales in America the way they did it............
this was and is intended as a slap in the face of entire United States. All those people from around the world who made a better life in the USA. All those who became US citizens. The was a “yankee go home” chant.
“Wait, it wasn’t just gall, it was UNMITIGATED GALL to showcase the melting pot that is America.”
Nope. Sorry. That commercial was the opposite of the idea of the melting pot. To convey the melting pot the producer merely had to have obvious new arrivals giving the lyrics their gamest shot in English.
Look up the definition of the word "insidious".
Many have claimed the commercial is ok since Coke is sold in many countries...that would fly if they had picked a different song. However you look at it, the way it was done = fail.
