It doesn’t matter that the hikes may poll well. We need to take the moral high-ground position that it’s flat-out wrong for voters to vote themselves into the pocketbooks of people who have stolen nothing from them. The economic arguments against the minimum wage are valid, but they are not enough.

IMO...this is an old “utopia” idea. The fact is, the gap will never be solved by raising the minimum wage.
Raise minimum wage; prices go up. The gap between what you make and what things will cost you will be “basically” the same.
I do agree that workers should get raises based on keeping up with rate of inflation.
As I said, I am finished with you on this. You have your opinions and I have mine based on true evidence.
If what you say is true, I’d like to be convinced by you. I would be a great benefit to be able to evaluate the evidence.
