Not to say that normal people shouldn’t speak out when stupidity is on full display. But this was the Stupid Bowl show and idiot commercials are the main attraction. Followed by a half time show that is puke-inducing.

Coke already had a pre-canned response ginned up for the inevitable backlash, and liberal blogs had already set phasers to “Racist.”

I have no problem whatsoever with Coca Cola marketing itself to Hispanics in Spanish. But the Super Bowl seemed like an odd place to do it, for the reasons stated above. Even the NFL markets itself to Hispanics, but it manages to do so without ticking off its English-speaking base.

I dislike all soda but my husband is a Coke fan who will now switch to Pepsi. He was infuriated by the commercial.
