Didn’t really have a dog in the hunt, so I was just hoping for a really good football game. So, I was disappointed with the lopsided blowout from a football fan perspective.
I will say, though, it was very cool that Seattle finally got to go to the Superbowl after all these years, and brought home a win. Congrats to the Seahawks and their fans for that.
And it works.
bradshaw will forever be over shadowed by the immaculate reception
Get real, Darren! Bruno writes his own
music, plays the piano and is a great performer.
check out your local, current, pop, rock station.
I really like most, not all (hate that song behind the
puppy/Clydesdale ad...) of it.

Darren, man cannot live on rock alone...
put a little romance in your life...Bruno does that.
Joe Montana: 4 SB’s, 4 wins, 11 TD’s 0 INT’s.
Terry Bradshaw doesn’t get the recognition that he should get. Montana does have better numbers and was perfect in the SB’s. Bradshaw threw INT’s. Hard to top Joe Montana’s perfection.
I’ll have to disagree regarding Tom Brady; he’s lost 2 SB’s, so be cannot ever be the greatest QB. Again, hard to top Joe Montana’s perfection.
Too well.
I might just take time out of work to attend...
First off, thanks to Bender for the NFL thread - have a speedy recovery!
CHI-SEA: Damn right! And I’m really happy for Pete Carroll; I always thought he got a raw deal in NEW.
Manning: Hes a good a Republican, so I won’t BBQ him. He’s a great QB, but not the greatest. Top 6-10, ok. But, he just sucks in the playoffs and really owes his 1 ring to the QB-less CHI team they beat.
Sounds like you've got an understanding wife there. I know mine is, bless her. 18 years of me and she still sticks around. Gotta love 'em :-)
Seattle was in the Superbowl in 2006 and lost to the Steelers.
Montana is the best ever. But i can’t help but wonder how his 49ers would have done against this years Seattle’s defense.
Carroll seems a bit hippy dippy but I like him. Excellent coach.
18?
noob
we are at 28
“Montana is the best ever.”
Exactly. The conversation rating/ranking QB’s ends with him, period.
That would have been a really great matchup...but with today’s rules (and emphasis on passing), the 49ers would have won.
I was impressed with Denver's Pot Roast-lead run defense; that gives them a starting point, a place from which to build.
Lesson from SB XLVIII: Balance wins big.
Methinks he partakes of the bud.
He’s come a long way as a coach and I’m glad for him.
But this is a happy night so we won’t bring that up! ;-)
And you're not dead yet? LOL
Congrats, bro. It takes two exceptional people to make it work that long.
Yep, this is the first win for Seattle in two appearances. Denver has been in seven and only won two.
