Must have found a leftist Austin judge.
Oh I see. Judges are now God. Where is THAT in the Constitution?
Wendy Davis wins....
Who says filibuster and bluster don’t work?
Texas, this is the slippery slope into a cesspool of “blue”. They let it happen in Virginia.
Time to cowboy up.
Special place in hell for the “father” and the “Judge”.
I couldn’t see any details form the link. Do they mention that if they kept her alive that the baby might survive?
Why he wants to kill the baby is beyond me. Maybe he never really wanted a baby in the first place, but that isn’t it because other people have said they will take the baby even if it is disabled.
FORT WORTH A Texas judge ordered life support removed from a pregnant Haltom City woman who has been kept alive at John Peter Smith Hospital against the wishes of her family.
State District Judge R. H. Wallace ordered the county-owned hospital to discontinue providing life-sustaining measures to Marlise Muñoz, 33, who has been hospitalized since just before Thanksgiving after she was stricken by a pulmonary embolism when she was 14 weeks pregnant.
The family went to court earlier today seeking to have that life support be removed after the county hospital refused to do so. Wallace ordered that life support be removed by 5 p.m. Monday.

Pregnant...oh, it can’t be Wendy Davis then...
who would this baby have grown up to be?
Can this order be overruled?
This is a heartbreaking case. Given the condition of the mother, I do not think the baby is alive. I can see holding on until the child could safely be delivered by C-section, but that could have been done earlier.
Is it known if the baby is alive and growing?
I certainly expect critcism for this. but it is my understanding that any quality of life for the baby was indeed marginal and the Texas law was hardly absolute with respect to circumstances such as this one.
I am for keeping the woman on life support until the baby is born.
Regardless of what the childs outcome may or may not be, I agree with the law that over rides the family wishes for the sake of the unborn.
This is heart breaking. I wouldn’t want to be in the fathers or the judges shoes when judgment time comes.
Mom and child dies.
The abortion freaks call that a two-fer
I totally agree the woman is dead and should be taken off the machine but I do have one question, just how does Judge R. H. Wallace Jr. propose to keep the baby alive? Oh, never mind, it's not a real live human being but merely a burdensome blob of cells. Here's what 14-15 weeks is -
BTW, he's one of Perry's appointments - http://tcgop.org/gov-perry-appoints-wallace-as-judge-of-the-96th-district-court/.
Prayers for all involved. The judge made the right call.
The child deserves a chance at life. The judge’s decision is wrong. Wait just a little time and see how the child makes out. I hope the hospital appeals this bum’s decision.
