I feel like I did about Terri when her “husband” had her murdered....
as though she was my own daughter being murdered..
but in this case there is a little baby..an innocent also being slaughtered..

I am sick over this. I can only pray that this baby is brain dead as well and had no chance anyways. I can only hope God takes it before the hospital is forced to turn off the machines. God help us all!

Me too..this is heart breaking. God forgive what we have become.
Why he wants to kill the baby is beyond me. Maybe he never really wanted a baby in the first place, but that isn’t it because other people have said they will take the baby even if it is disabled.
FORT WORTH — A Texas judge ordered life support removed from a pregnant Haltom City woman who has been kept alive at John Peter Smith Hospital against the wishes of her family.
State District Judge R. H. Wallace ordered the county-owned hospital to discontinue providing life-sustaining measures to Marlise Muñoz, 33, who has been hospitalized since just before Thanksgiving after she was stricken by a pulmonary embolism when she was 14 weeks pregnant.
The family went to court earlier today seeking to have that life support be removed after the county hospital refused to do so. Wallace ordered that life support be removed by 5 p.m. Monday.

Hope the governor issues a pardon to the condemned mother and child. The trial was a railroad job.
Can this order be overruled?
The ruling JUST broke. Other stories indicated that there was testimony about the baby’s development since the mother’s stroke, and about families willing to adopt the baby regardless of any developmental issues.
The judge apparently is just going with the right of the next of kin to make these decisions unless there is documentation that the patient would have wanted otherwise.
A gift from God. Just like its mother.
