Meanwhile we're standing in lines to take off our belts and shoes, X-rayed, having our phones and computers tapped, our returning service members are called potential domestic terrorists and this bozo wants to give Iran a pass and "give peace a chance?"
My gut is that if Obama wants something, we should do the opposite.
It’s a liberal fantasy that really bad people who want to kill you can be reasoned with and that they’re only mad at you because of George Bush, or America being evil, or something that we, or the West, or Britain did in (pick-a-date.)
They believe that now that they’re here and they’re so cool that they can talk anybody into doing anything they want. After all, the problems are due to people who were not them making decisions they’d never have made.
...what are we to think of a President who treats common Americans like hardened criminals and terror loving rogue states like Iran with kid gloves?
“......now is the time for us to allow the diplomats and technical experts to do their work,” Obama said.”

We must just suspend reality over his abysmal track record in these areas.
Joyful time in Iran. At the very most they have agreed to stop enriching uranium but their entire nuclear infrastructure remains intact. It can be reactivated anytime. Meanwhile they get relief from sanctions, their economy improves and political support for the theocratic regime may increase. The mullahs have played Obama well and have won a strategic victory.
As though the last 10 years don't count as an evaluation period
Diplomacy without force of arms is like music without instruments.Iran laughs at the weak platitudes that are being substituted for actual diplomacy. They own the UN, too.
Frederick the Great
because diplomacy worked so well for Jimmy Carter
and Neville Chamberlain
and Stalin
We have tried diplomacy for decades. All we have to show for it is a near-nuclear Iran that would just love to use a nuclear weapon on Israel or the US.
and what do you say, Mrs. Clinton?
Either Obama is a complete moron who knows nothing at all about the art of diplomacy or he and his handlers are working against the house, that is the U.S. White House that exists for the good of the American people.
If somebody told Barack Obama and John Kerry that Iran does not allow gay marriage, and that Iranian homosexuals are treated worse than blacks in the Jim Crow-era South, I am sure they will drop their negotiated settlement like a hot potato, and become veritable bloodhawks where Iran is concerned.
