Boehner: Amnesty After GOP Primary Filing Deadlines
Breibart.com ^ | December 4, 2013 | Matthew Boyle

A new report from the Texas-based Quorum Report, published by longtime Texas journalist Harvey Kronberg, says that House Speaker John Boehner plans to push amnesty legislation through the House, after the primary filing deadline for candidates. The move would prevent Tea Party from challenging GOP lawmakers who support amnesty in 2014.

. . . Boehner hired amnesty advocate Rebecca Tallent as his new immigration policy adviser. “Rebecca Tallent will join the office as Assistant to the Speaker for Policy handling immigration issues,” Boehner’s office said in a release on Tuesday. Tallent previously worked for Senate “Gang of Eight” member Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) on immigration policy. She helped him and the late Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-MA) draft their final immigration proposal—one that ultimately failed.

There are two men challenging him. They need to be supported with our time and money

I do not understand why the true conservatives in the HOR didn’t dump Boehner. It makes them complicit in his backstabbing treachery.

I was thinking along some of the same lines. Now that we know Boehner’s plan, it doesn’t make any difference.

Only problem is if amnesty is a tar baby. Do they want us to go near it because most Americans have been cornswaggled into being for it?

I revert to my basic maxim: Do the right thing and let the chips fall where they may. Put this fact (of Boehner’s plan) in the hopper with everything else and run primary candidates who are against amnesty, among other things of course.

So, what if they get the cursed thing through before the elections? Does that harm all our tea party anti-amnesty candidates? Repeat step one: Do the right thing. Their campaigns alone could change the tide, a collateral benefit.

Then our only alternative is to not vote for any republican who goes along with this. Yes, even if that means a democrat wins.

And it will be Bohener’s fault completely.

If the President and members of Congress don’t want to follow the law or simply change the law to suit their corrupt aims, many ordinary Americans might not feel obligated to follow any laws that they don’t like. This is very bad.

What our political leaders are doing is inviting lawlessness and social disorder. We live in dark times. Everything is upside down. None of it makes any sense to me. Going Galt is looking more and more appealing.

If he wins the primary then Patriots should prepare to vote for the democrat because this GOPe leader is an enemy and must be replaced. His defeat probably would not result in loss of majority, and it would give the Patriots one last chance to replace the current traitorous leadership.

If they don’t do that, then it really doesn’t much matter because political solutions are dwindling before our eyes. Walter Williams speaks wisdom.

I do not understand why the true conservatives in the HOR didn’t dump Boehner.

I have had a thought lately that maybe the TEA party Patriots should change their Party affiliation, that could deny the GOPe a majority which would force the GOPe into a coalition type situation, and that could result in a big shakeup in leadership.

That may be the only way to stop this amnesty insanity, because once it is done, it will not be undone.

I wish I could believe in honest elections....sigh.....

“Schweizer reported that Boehner apparently used the Tollbooth Strategy to collect more than $200,000 in political donations from executives just days before holding votes on bills critically important to their industries.”

The GOPe are nothing but corporatists for sale to the highest bidder. The bidding is now starting on amnesty.

Bring it on, Boehner. Like your buddy Obama, you’re just going to hasten the coming storm.

Our representative form of government is already on life support. Passing amnesty for illegals will finally pull the plug on it, and will bring on the secession of the red states.

For tens of millions of conservatives, including myself, this will be the final straw of supporting the GOP.

I think it'll blow the door wide open to secession of the red states. After amnesty, there won't be any point in keeping up the charade of a representative government any longer. Or, a union for that matter.

I have employed over the same time period hundreds of Mexican laborers and craftsmen. I have stated right here on FR several times that without these hard working guys, there would have been no construction industry in Texas for me to thrive in, and that is a fact.

It's guys like you who've practically ruined the construction trades for American men, who once flocked to that industry because it paid well, and was a highly skilled profession.

Your "hard working guys" have pushed the wages down so drastically in the construction field, that no law abiding American man can earn an honest living at it any more. Americans don't get all of the government freebies that make it possible for your "hard working guys" to work for peanuts.

I take it personally, because these invaders have taken the food off my children's dinner table for years, and have made it damn near impossible for me and my wife to build our business to the levels it should be.

A pox on them, and everyone who supports them!

Bravo, Windflier! Thanks for telling it like it REALLY is.

To add to your accurate statements, let me say that it's GREEDY employers of legal and/or illegal immigrant labor that are pressuring GOP legislators with big donations and other lobbying efforts of the nth magnitude to get them to pass a total amnesty bill in the not distant future.

This is why Judas Boehner and his RINO cohourts are getting all ready to sell their country down the river for a few pesos of silver when Obama's big move for amnesty is plopped into the halls of congress.

And it's not only Mexican male laborers that are disrupting our employment market, but third-world men and women workers flooding the general service, retail, office, manufacturing etc. industries.....tens of thousands of them pouring into our already-shrunken labor market...and working on the cheap.

I can't believe the freeper employer who posted upthread is actually CROWING about his hiring practices on a conservative forum. I'd be ashamed to even mention it publicly.

Buy American....Employ Americans! Push Back!

If the Tea Party goes independent, expect about 1/4 - 1/3 of republicans to become democrats claiming the high ground saying that they are for compromise and against Tea Party radicalism. Believe it.

The remaining 1/3 of the Republican party will wither on the vine much like disappearing Whigs did during the 1840 and 1850s.

I think the Dems would then have complete control of things and that would be bad.

The best course of action is to target select seats for Tea Part replacement and target select safe GOP-E seats (like Boehner and Ryan’s) for Operation “Chaos” to vote third party (if available), stay at home (if the margin is predicted to be small). I cannot vote Democrat. Their party is far to vile. There once was a time, you could vote for a few democrats (a long time ago), but that breed does not exist anymore.

Thanks for telling it like it REALLY is.

You're welcome. While our fellow Freeper enjoyed the fruits of success by employing low wage illegals, my wife and I saw our business shrink to barely subsistence levels.

I once employed Americans to do skilled labor at $30 an hour, but after years of unfair competition from those who don't play by the rules, my business shrank to the point where I couldn't afford a single legal employee, at any rate of pay.

Only through dogged determination and ridiculously hard work, have my wife and I recovered to the point where we're at least capable of feeding our kids and paying our bills.

I can't begin to tell you how much my family has suffered because of the destruction illegals have brought upon my industry. And there are tens of thousands of small contractors across the country who've suffered just as badly as we have.

I hear someone like our friend bragging about his success in the construction industry, and I want to throw up. He's actually profited from helping these invaders to destroy my life.

Folks, forget the ballot box. Don’t put your faith into a politician. Start making plans. If Amnesty passes, this country will go into a tailspin. What’s the point of obeying federal laws if illegals haven’t and don’t?

Looks to me like Boehner is tossing us some red meat to get us all excited and pissed off.

Your Rep’s stand on immigration/amnesty is not a secret. If you don’t know, call them up and ask. If your Rep is strongly against it, fine. If any other opinion is given (weasel words), they are against it. How hard is that?

If your Rep is not strongly against it encourage someone else to run.
