In October and November, the error rate for the Obamacare website as far as an enrollee having their information forwarded to an insurer was 25%. No one knew how many people would think they were covered while the insurance company had no clue they were even a customer.
It's early yet, but there have already been several examples of this little "glitch" that may cost people's lives.
Hospital staff in Northern Virginia are turning away sick people on a frigid Thursday morning because they can't determine whether their Obamacare insurance plans are in effect.
Patients in a close-in DC suburb who think they've signed up for new insurance plans are struggling to show their December enrollments are in force, and health care administrators aren't taking their word for it.
In place of quick service and painless billing, these Virginians are now facing the threat of sticker-shock that comes with bills they can't afford.
'They had no idea if my insurance was active or not!' a coughing Maria Galvez told MailOnline outside the Inova Healthplex facility in the town of Springfield.
She was leaving the building without getting a needed chest x-ray.

The MSM will sim[ply not report this story. No story; the problem does not exist. (Notice there are never stories about the homeless when a Dem is president?)
Ooops....
Nobody is turned away for not having insurance. Apparently people are walking away on their own when the find out the visit won’t be covered by Obama money.
Some of these people are probably really sick, in which case they'll sort it out later but pay and get the care they need. There's probably a percentage who figured that they have insurance now, and they'll get all of the freebies they can.
Glitch that may cost people’s lives.
It’s why it’s called socialized medicine.
Two specialists, (different specialties) told us that many patients showed up assuming they were covered and were not.
Both docs agreed to bill established patients if they paid their co pays.
The docs would not allow billing with new patients with no proof of insurance. Cash was required up front. This forced a good % of patients to cancel the appointments, which meant a loss of time for the docs.
Both docs were disappointed that many patients without coverage due to a screwup from Obamacare didn’t seem to be mad about it. One doc said that made her very concerned. The cancelled patients should have been angry/mad. Instead, in her words, “They just took the no see’s with minimal if any emotion.”
Instead, in her words, They just took the no sees with minimal if any emotion.
Our populace has taken much grief, much hardship since the Democrats took over Congress since 2007. What is sad is that through the sinister secrecy of the MSM, the general populace does not really know the downward descent our nation is headed.
Your example may just illustrate the dumbing down, the desensitizing of the people. Desensitized people just do not have the resolve to fight against wrongs, to resist government oppressions.
Even if these people had been confirmed as “covered” - the chances they would still have to pay for that day’s visit out-of-pocket is still quite high right?
These people will eventually get they’re “coverage” - and they will STILL go without treatment once they understand what a deductible is.
They are slowly but surely learning the meaning of the word, “deductible.”
Conversation at an inner city ER:
“I’m here for my free Obamacare I heard about on my Obamafone!”
“OK. You came to the right place! You’re policy has a $5,000 deductible. Today’s care costs $150, so that will be $150. In advance.”
“Where’s my free Gibsmedat! I want mo betta Gibsmedat!”
“No problem, that’s what we voted for! As soon as your bills reach $5,000, you get the Gibsmedat! Now, will the $150 be in cash or EBT draft?”
I see why the Docs are concerned. These people they’re talking about have no clue the rug’s been pulled out from under them, and Docs are worried that people will start acting out in their offices, endangering them and their staff.
I wouldn’t want to be the person to have to tell them there isn’t any Gibsmedat anymore. They’ll tear you to shreds.
We knew this wouldn’t work!
And the idiot voters wouldn’t believe us. They still don’t.
Your summation of what this doctor was trying to convey about her concern re might be patients or former patients re their state of denial is excellent.
“Our populace has taken much grief, much hardship since the Democrats took over Congress since 2007. What is sad is that through the sinister secrecy of the MSM, the general populace does not really know the downward descent our nation is headed.”
“Your example may just illustrate the dumbing down, the desensitizing of the people. Desensitized people just do not have the resolve to fight against wrongs, to resist government oppressions.”
You are probably correct:!
“I see why the Docs are concerned. These people theyre talking about have no clue the rugs been pulled out from under them, and Docs are worried that people will start acting out in their offices, endangering them and their staff.
I wouldnt want to be the person to have to tell them there isnt any Gibsmedat anymore. Theyll tear you to shreds.”
That'll be the next shoe to drop once we get past this initial "am I insured or not" question. That's when things will really get lively.
When the “mo betta gibsmedat” crowd finds out what “deductible” means, I hope everybody here who lives in the cities has plenty of ammo.

Thanks for the link.
CNN could have used a $5000 deductible instead of $500.
What was I thinking. This is CNN.:)
Surely everybody in CNN’s 40,000 cohort of watchers can afford the platinum policy, no?
