We the people can nullify Obamas unconstitutional communist POS by simply refusing to submit. If the majority of the people dont sign up for it, it dies on the vine. In fact it wouldnt take anywhere close to a majority. Twenty to thirty percent ought to do it.
It's not going to work anyway. Socialism never works. We need to kill if it we want to save our constitutional republic!
No surrender, no retreat!!
Do not sign away your freedom!!
Do not submit to the godless leftist wannabe dictators!!
We are the resistance!!
Amen, Jim. I thank God that He has given you the gifts of logic and discernment that you may guide us through the morass of psycho-babel that comes with the politicians in DC.
You are BLESSED!
Thanks for devising such a great place to come!
Romney would have raised the general tax rate and then structured it as a tax credit. Mathematically it'd be the same. But most people won't say tax credits are unconstitutional.
I don't like the mandate for a number of reasons. But I didn't like the scenario that predated it either. Before the mandate, providers had to provide care whether the person could pay or not. But the government didn't reimburse the providers for the care. That is an unconstitutional "taking" in my opinion. A violation of fifth amendment rights.
Worse, the providers had to raise rates on services to everyone else, to offset the freeloaders. So instead of the general taxpayer paying for the indigent care, it's the other sick people paying for the indigent care. That seems wrong to me. If government orders the care to be provided, then government should pay, not the other sick people.
I think I would like the mandate better if it was structured as a tax credit. And even then we will have people who don't have insurance who can't pay. I think government should pick up the tab. And then collect from those who have the ability to pay.
What's more I think we need to bring back the old anti-trust laws that say you can't charge different ratges to different people for the same service. There has to be a clear cost difference. And I think all healthcare rates should be published in a database on the internet. That way healthcare consumers have price information.
time to water the tree if thats what it takes id rather die free
No Lucifercare for this FReeper!
Impeach Lucifer!
Something similar here. Our company is dropping group but is providing help to purchase individual policies. They are offering to help those who may qualify for subsidies to go thru zerocare but the rest of us will simply purchase a private policy.
BCBS is who we had and who we will be with. Except for the provisions for abortion coverage which I must pay for, its virtually the same as what we had. I don’t like it but neither do I like paying taxes for the salaries of any dumble on the public teat.
“They hope we fear them. I am angry they have done this to America and I will not comply.”
Jefferson said, “When the people fear the government you have tyranny, when the government fears the people you have liberty”
Yeah, right.
Volstead Act...Made my "Family's" day!
D.C.
It will work for the regime and has destroyed our nation even as we watched.
I haven’t signed up and won’t sign up for obamacare.
Yes Sir! We win this game if we don’t play.
Yup. Hopefully we’ve got some states who have the guts to do this. Feds refuse to fund such states? The states will be better off if they move toward free markets and limited government. They’d be little Hong Kongs economically outperforming the bloated federal socialist beast.
I have no intention to cooperate with this invalid and unconstitutional mandate.
Agreed. That’s been my plan all along.
“Doesnt matter what roberts said. Hes wrong.”

Amen, unconstitutional is unconstitutional, regardless of what the court says. I can call a tomcat a lion but he will never kill a hyena. How many legs does a dog have if you call his tail a leg? The answer is four, not five.
“I have been thinking for weeks that we can overturn this law with a constitutional amendment, but I have no idea how to even get this petition started?”

If the people running this country felt any obligation whatsoever to abide by the existing constitution the absurdly named Affordable Care Act would never even have been proposed. How would another amendment change that?
I hate to tell you this, but resistance for most of us is futile.
To succeed, you must be able to operate outside the banking system or you need to bring down the banking system.
If you have contact with the banking system, they will simply take your money.
G-d be with you. I will be going home eventually to Israel, and the socialized medicine there. It’s a small country. Everyone is like family there. We have a cultural tendency to turn out good doctors.
It will never work in America, though. Too big. Too diverse. Too many of the untalented limping through medical schools. So fight the good fight. CW2 is coming anyway. Why not choose the ground to fight on and the terms.
I will never submit to A$$haole Care. As a matter of fact I have organized myself to be O-”care” proof, and will never have anything to do with it, nor will I need to have anything to do with it, EVER.
If Obama wants to nationalize the health care system, control the wages of doctors and health workers, and ration health care through death panels and over use of drugs, he can take an intravenous dose of HIV and waste away with Reggie Love holding his hand, subjected to his own diabolical health plan himself!
