The FDR bible used by Mayor Bill de Blasio for his swearing in vanished after the New Year’s Day ceremony, sparking a panicked, hours-long search for the historic tome.
“They had the whole detail looking through blankets,’’ a police source said of the scramble by at least 50 NYPD detectives and city officials to find the Bible, which was given to President Franklin Delano Roosevelt as a gift at his first inauguration in March 1933.
Former President Bill Clinton performed the ceremony Wednesday as de Blasio laid his hand on the bible.

It was either incompetence or attempted theft. Given the slimy characters present, attempted theft is is the more logical assumption.

IOW, when the missing FDR Bible was found, the pages were stuck together.
What did they expect? Bill & Hillary Clinton were there. Historic things often go missing when the “grifters” are present. Remember the “Count the Silverware Ball”?

And we all thought Bloomie was a waste. Just wait until this Pinko has spent four years on NYC. DeBlasio is the “white equivalent” of Coleman Young, the twenty-year Marxist Mayor of Detroit. I’ll wager that he can do in one or two terms, what took Young five. First thing that will happen is that the money will leave. Oh, and it will be a hoot if the Rich Chinese Guy buys the NYSlimes! We need to invest in a lot of popcorn.
