The first same-sex wedding in the history of the Tournament of Roses Parade went off without a hitch -- except for the planned one -- despite threats of protests and days of opposition on social media.
"Congratulations and our best wishes to Aubrey and Danny on their wedding day!" said KTLA-TV Channel 5 broadcaster Bob Eubanks, one of the live telecast show's hosts, as the wedding-cake-shaped float passed by the viewing stands.
The vows took place near the end of the two-hour telecast of the 125th annual Rose Parade. There were no major incidents reported.

“Aubrey” one of those names that can go Male or Female. It probably flew over the head of 80% watching the parade.

Without incident...apart from the transmission of rectal syphilis as the “bride” and “groom” consummated their “marriage” moments after the ceremony concluded.

Why do these people, and liberals in general, want to push this narrative that conservatives are hateful, violent against them, etc??? They push this meme, and while its true that conservatives oppose them, conservatives are not staging hate crimes or staging violence against them.Projecting. That's what they'd do if the tables were turned.

First time I haven’t watched in years. My favorite parade - but no more.

They expected good Christians to throw rice and applaud.
Still happy I didn’t watch the parade.

I watched it, and it actually was very good. When it got to the part of the so-called “marriage”, HGTV skipped over the “ceremony” part and started talking about the next float. Nothing was shown but 3 people standing on top of the float with one giving orders to the other two (telling them where to stand, I assume).

Anybody know if they had the last sentence of a gay wedding ceremony anywhere on the float? It’s “ Who Wants Fudge?”

Didn’t watch, even though my wife always looks forward to seeing the Marine unit rounding that corner. Since the organizers decided to turn it into yet another PC panderfest they can jam their Rose Parade.

HGTV spent all of 30 seconds on that particular float. They went into great detail on all the others. It almost seemed like they were very uncomfortable with whole thing. No mention of a ‘marriage’ taking place on the float and no close up of the participants.

The whole Rose parade seemed a bit gay. A Pajama Boy feel to it.
