The first same-sex wedding in the history of the Tournament of Roses Parade went off without a hitch -- except for the planned one -- despite threats of protests and days of opposition on social media.
"Congratulations and our best wishes to Aubrey and Danny on their wedding day!" said KTLA-TV Channel 5 broadcaster Bob Eubanks, one of the live telecast show's hosts, as the wedding-cake-shaped float passed by the viewing stands.
The vows took place near the end of the two-hour telecast of the 125th annual Rose Parade. There were no major incidents reported.

Russia got it right...these folks are pervs
They sound disappointed there wasn’t a riot...
Were they expecting Christians to set off a suicide bomb?
Nothing so drastic as a suicide bomb, but I wouldn’t be surprised if some fraudulent hate speech incident occurs within next several weeks.
Rose Parade? Hmm, I guess I forgot to watch it.
Lefties are so self-deluded, I bet they actually did!
It is now the International Queer Festival.
Would not watch the parade..a matter of principle.
No worries. Next time they will fake some hate crime incident and blame it on the Tea Party types.
A little off-topic: has anybody read the book The Book of Matt? About the Matthew Shepherd case? What an eye opener!
It would have been perfect if Bill Clinton had officiated the ceremony...
I have NEVER skipped watching the Rose Bowl, but I did today. I deliberately left the TV off, not wanting to see that.
Let’s change it to the Pansy Parade.
(Did I just commit a hate crime?)
Didn’t turn it on for the first time in a long time. They lost four viewers here.
Now they can go on the Newlywed Game.
“What was the strangest place you’ve ever made whoopie?”
“That would be up the butt, Bob.”
The left and the homosexual movement manage to ruin anything ‘traditional’. This is yet another attempt to sway ordinary Americans into accepting the concept of same-sex ‘marriage’ as normal and acceptable. Sadly, it’s working. Had a disruption taken place to ‘mar’ the ‘ceremony’, the media would have excoriated those opposed to same-sex ‘marriage’ as akin to Nazi Storm Troopers in order to gin up sympathy for the ‘gay’ couple just trying to be ‘married’. Boo Hoo.
Same here. First one I’ve not watched in quite a few decades.
I feel bad for the people who worked long and hard on their floats because we have a first-hand appreciation of the work which it involves. But we refused to be even indirect participant in this celebration of perversion this year.
Did not watch-will never watch again.
