In America today, there are close to 50 million people living in poverty and there are more than 100 million people that get money from the federal government every month. As the middle class disintegrates, poverty is climbing to unprecedented levels. Even though the stock market has been setting record high after record high, the amount of anger and frustration boiling just under the surface in our nation grows with each passing day.
And now extended unemployment benefits have been cut off for 1.3 million unemployed Americans, and it is being projected that a total of 5 million unemployed Americans will lose their benefits by the end of 2014. In addition, as I have written about previously, 47 million Americans recently had their food stamp benefits reduced. The conditions for a "perfect storm" are certainly being created. So how much longer will it be until we see all of this anger and frustration boil over in the streets of our major cities? Is America about to reach a breaking point?
If you think that the title of this article is "alarmist", you probably have not been paying attention to what has been happening over the past few weeks. For example, a 600 person brawl broke out at at movie theater in Jacksonville, Florida just the other day...
It's over people - I suggest you quietly prepare for national chaos - 3 to 6 months in length...it's going to happen...they need it to happen to gain control...however, it might not turn out the way they expect!
If they need unemployment benefits for that long, then they ought to apply for welfare. Full of doom and gloom on New Year’s Eve?
Gotta get more cartridges, fast.
Thanks.

The number one rule about prepping is not to tell anyone that you’ve been prepping.
- Tyler Durden said something to that effect, I think.
Maybe folks are tired of me saying this but I will anyhow. New acceptance of God (which needn’t use the “traditional” channels such as “traditional” churches) is going to be a must here, if chaos is to resolve in a constructive manner. Otherwise it will be unrest from chaos to chaos.
There is one kind of prepping that you can gladly let everyone else in on. Prep with God. Stock up on His promises.
How many people do you expect to be shooting at?

Sure it is, that’s a foregone conclusion. It’s what happens after the collapse of American society and who ends up in control is what will be the most telling aspect.
This “article” is over a year old.
“If they need unemployment benefits for that long, then they ought to apply for welfare. Full of doom and gloom on New Years Eve?”
Welfare only pacifies the masses if they’ve never known anything else (such as the successive welfare generations in our cities). For the Americans that used to work worthwhile jobs to obtain a decent standard of living, welfare does little.
The Bolsheviks and Red Chinese (and especially the Khmer Rouge most recently) understood that they could only have their slave plantations when those who remembered (and discussed) memories of the “before-time” were around. Today those would be people from roughly 35 years of age and up (Obama’s initial success with young voters was no accident). The rest have to be silenced until they die off, and ObamaCare ensures they won’t linger long.
depends on where you live. depends on what actually happens and where.
Certainly jobs are scarce and Poverty is a problem, but jobs and money are not what is causing the flash mobs, and civil unrest . That is caused by groups of criminals who are encouraged by a fraudulent administration and a jackass Attorney General called Holder.
If you haven’t already been buying cheap and stacking deep, save your money at this point. Can’t eat it, and there’s not enough ammo in the world for what’s to come. Invest in First Aid stuff, toothpaste, dried foods, canned goods, bar soap, iodized salt (lots of salt), and Bic lighters. Great for barter as well as your own use.
Yeap - and it’s coming to a head...wait until the news sits back and doesn’t report what’s about to happen on the economic front as people loose money, jobs, health coverage, etc...and people are desperate to provide for their families...stress can be a great motivator to progress or it can lead one to do irrational things...
No, we’re too comfortable for chaos. If our poor was like real poor maybe, but people with cable aren’t rebelling.
mis-typed the year - it’s 31 DEC 2013....
Ammo will become a great tool for bartering.

Today’s poverty have free food, free medical care, free cell phones, color TV and AC. All handed to them on a silver platter.
