PASADENA >> In a Tournament of Roses first, two Los Angeles men will celebrate their gay marriage on a Rose Parade float as it goes down Colorado Boulevard on New Year’s Day.
The wedding of Danny Leclair, 45, and Aubrey Loots, 42, will take place atop a giant wedding cake-shaped float sponsored by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, according to a press release. It is the third float sponsored by the foundation.

Has a hetero couple ever gotten married atop a float in the Rose Parade? If it ever did happen, did the media make such a huge deal out of it, leading up to the day?
I tell you what. This story is reaching millions of dedicated Rose Parade watchers, and millions of them are probably disgusted that the organizers chose to use the immense drawing power of this annual event to promote such degeneracy.
This is going to negatively impact viewing numbers this year. I know that for the first time in eighteen years, it won’t be showing in my house.
