eeeeeeeeeeee gads, the lunacy of these idiots
oh and everything is relative
I was holding forth to my brother that I hoped his bro in laws adulterous relationship to a fellow LEO would fall apart because the bro in law should be with his lawful wedded wife and three little children and my bro shouts “that’s horrible! You have no right to say that”. I didn’t even bother to say to my idiot bro that a lust relationship is certainly not anything I am going to respect, I just got up and left.
Lessons and Carols on Christmas Eve.
Opening presents Christmas morning.
Big family brunch of steak served with shrimp and grits.
In our tradition the Airing of the Grievances is on the Christmas night.
Merry Christmas to all!
I am really sorry and hope God deals with her to give her a Damascus Road experience and open her eyes to the truth
I will be chowing down on baby back ribs and downing E.H. Taylor premium bourbon while watching the first four seasons of “Justified” on blu-ray.
More than likely alone Christmas Eve. Probably find a good Christmas movie to watch.
Christmas day, I’ll have a leisure morning, sipping coffee, listening to Christmas music.
Before noon, I’ll go to mom’s house. I’ll spend the rest of the day there, with mom, step-dad, sister and her family.
The highlight will be when my daughters come over, sometime in the early afternoon. We’ll open gifts and make a mess.
Then, we will sit down for the wonderful Christmas feast mom and my sister have prepared. We’ll say our goodbyes late that night and go home (my daughters with me, their father, where they belong).
Every year, for many years, the last thing I do on Christmas is lie in bed listening to Dylan Thomas recite “A Child’s Christmas in Wales.” I’ll do that yet again, then I’ll drift to sleep.
Blessed.
Here here!!
Christmas Eve: up early, coffee with Mac, Lucy and Charlie (3 cats, no dog); then clean house. Invited my oldest daughter (Navy vet) and granddaughter for dinner (Butternut squash and sage lasagna, roasted Brussel sprouts, sauteed portobellos with kale, tons of Christmas cookies; then open gifts. Christmas Day: just me and 3 kitties no dog; a peaceful soulful day, expect I will have a long, enjoyable phone conversation (LMAO) with my surfer brother in southern California (conservative - can’t stand Obama either). Merry Christmas to all! Happy New Year!
The kids are all home (27, 25, almost 23 — how time flies) which is wonderful. The middle one has to tend the horses at her barn on Christmas morning at Christmas afternoon, so I hope we can squeeze in our annual Christmas trip to the beach. Waffles on Christmas morning and then standing rib roast, beans and mashed potatoes for dinner. I decided to make this a foodie Christmas and have made some big baskets with all sorts of specialty oils, vinegars, nuts, chocolates and other favorite treats.
The Bay Area Air Police have been declaring day after day of “Spare the Air” days, so no fire in the fireplace tonight and probably not on Christmas day, either. The air is really foul with no wind or rain in sight.
Merry Christmas to All.
I'm very sorry. I know how brutal that can be.
May God give you your most joyous and merriest Christmas ever.
Everyone (almost) is going to be here this Christmas for the day and dinner. My son and his wife are going through a really nasty separation. He’s living with us. All the grandkids will be here. So we just count our blessings. I guess it could be worse.
Merry Christmas and God bless everyone at FR and their families.
Tomorrow evening, go to Christmas eve church service, then got get dinner at a Chinese food restaraunt. The teens open 1 present. The next day, we open resents, have a big breakfast, and I slave away in the kirchen cooking turkey.
Are they liberals who won’t shut up about politics, by any chance?
Wear pajamas, drink hot chocolate, talk about...wait, that’s my Nightmare Before Christmas.
I’m putting in a water heater.
