Came to their senses
The decision happened so quickly to pull the merchandise that there's a strong possibility it didn't go through enough scrutiny. I can't fault a company that so quickly understands the principle that the issue is freedom of speech.
Now, I'm done with you, no more interaction. Bye, now.
Say they mad a mistake
Like a weathervane and swing with the latest breeze
If they aren't rewarded for making the right decision (yes, I know they made the wrong decision, initially) then they, and other businesses, will not learn from their experiences.
They corrected their error, reward them for it.
If everyone took your one-mistake-and-you’re-out position when someone admitted a mistake, there would be no forgiveness; i.e. no Christian witness.
If they do it again, that’s different.
boycott them unil they fire the person responsible for the original decision
CB management do not share my core values.
Giving up my principles by patronizing an establishment where management have been allowed to publicly demonstrate their own principles that so deeply conflict with mine is not worth the “comfort” of a plate of eggs and ham.
Business should remain neutral on issues like this. CB behaved stupidly. They stroked 3% of the population that are mostly not customers and ruffled the feathers of probably more than 50% of the customers in the South that are their customers. Stupid.
CB will have to provide more than an apology to get my business back. They have not even made a press release on their corporate web page.
...so like a dumbass I click on your link, and the first thing I see is a ‘WARREN: 2016’ bumper sticker.
Those duck calls would come in handy at the Rose Bowl parade, where there going to televise a homo wedding.
So you are willing to compromise your principles by patronizing a business led by people who have demonstrated principles that you claim not to share?
An apology isnt good enough for me.
There are lots of other places to buy iron cookware, candy and Gaither CDs.
A breakfast taco from just about anywhere will do me just fine.

It is negative/positive reinforcement, in my opinion, just like training a dog.
CB did something incredibly stupid. They quickly received an abundance of negative reinforcement. They have now apologized. I will return to doing business with them which is positive reinforcement.
Hopefully, they will re-evaluate their policy of whether or not to jump into PC knee-jerk reactions which may alienate their consumer base in the future.
Corporations across the country have been incorporating political correctness nonsense for decades. I am hopeful we are seeing the first signs that middle America has had enough and that we are not going to take it anymore.
The principles of a business are profit. They were afraid of losing profits because of GLAAD, NAACP, etc. They realized, albeit lately, that their profits came form another segment of society. They have corrected that error (at least for now).
I can once again look forward to enjoying their pancakes which are sublime and can do so with a clear conscience (unless they screw up again, of course).
Like they say, one aw shucks wipes out 10,000 atta boys.
The higher up the food chain you go the more harsh the judgement and the tougher the penalties.
There is also something about, not all of you who call on my name will enter the kingdom of heaven.... call me a skeptic.
I’m from Missouri... show me.
God has taken care of forgiveness.
This was not a mistake. It was done with malice of forethought. It is a demonstration of principles that go against my own.
IMHO, I can’t believe top management at CB can be so stupid. Don’t these “smart” company executives know what happened with Gay C Penney and Chick Fil A? We conservatives still have power in the marketplace. When corporations who should know better make these make stupid decisions, I don’t trust them anymore. They’re probably still supporting these gay and other liberal groups in other ways. So, I’m not into helping them further denigrate our society by rewarding them with my hard earned dollars.
It’s kind of like having your spouse or girlfriend cheating on you. You can forgive them but you don’t forget. Screw’em, I say!
Some dogs aren’t worth training.
When you get to be CEO you are not allowed to make mistakes. You are paid huge, sometimes obscene, amounts of money not to make stupid mistakes. This one is about as stupid as it gets and is currently only eclipsed by the A&E position. They had handlers with Phil what’s his bucket. They could have and should have controlled the damage.
CB CEO did this all on her own and all on her watch. Time for her to go do something else.
Someone got pretty close to right... the corporation should be neutral and allow their customers to make their own decisions. IF enough customers turn away they need to change the business model.
One of the items I gave my aunt was a Dutch oven - like I said - you would have thought I gave her gold when I gave her that stuff....there were several frying pans, a “deep fryer” for when my mom did catfish, and a Dutch oven.
If Conservatives continue to voice their opinion in situations such as this, I believe there will be quite a few RINOs being put out to pasture in the upcoming primary races.
Please, God, make it so.
