I would love to be there when the camera crew shows up to start filming. I have a feeling they will get an idea of what a duck sees when it comes in contact with the Robertsons. Wile I am sure all of his sons are pretty steamed, I would put my money on Jase grabbing his 1100 and waitng for them at the door.
I don’t think Phil was an “employee”. I think Phil was likely a contract employee and they’re claiming he violated some clause in his contract.

Duck Dynasty vs. Dick Die-nasty
The war on Christianity in our schools and media is a vitally important component to Obama’s leftist agenda. Christians are the only thing that stand in the way of the internal communist takeover of this country. As Christianity has declined, leftism has increased in equal proportion and will continue to do so until it takes over if trends continue. The response to the firing of a huge national Christian star is front one in the war against Obama and the socialists. There is no difference in these issues. They are inextricably linked.

If you run an advertizement for a product that does something it does not, you have to pay a penalty.
No political ad are banned or fined for the same reason.
It is an example of the Hollywood Blacklist that does not get discussed in schools, art museums, or playhouses.

Phil has been at odds with the producers for some time. There have been rumors that he was going to walk off the show in past seasons. He’s a savy guy. If he walks, he damages his fan base of 18 million people. If he gets banned from the show for answering an extremely controversial and emotional question exactly like his fan base (and his own feelings) say.... the fan base will even increase. Phil and the family will be successful in the future. Time to move on to the next chapter of life.
This is only a taste of the oppression we are about to face.

More people need to be saying this. There are plenty of quotes from leftists to back that up.
I don’t have a tel-lies-vision and don’t know much difference between a duck dynasty or a honey boo boo, but my understanding of the pop culture is that we are only a month or so since one of the DD guys got restricted in his speech for giving a Christian blessing at a meal on camera.

A&E did nothing that they shouldn’t have the legal right to do.
Morally, however they are on the wrong side of God’s teaching so of course they are wrong to “suspend” Phil Robertson.
He was asked his views and he gave them. He didn’t take it upon himself to “lash out” at homosexuals. Metrosexuals at GQ put him up to it.
That is true, and yet another indication of how far our current government has strayed from the intent of the founders. There is an entire federal and state bureaucracy devoted to litigating cases against employers who dare terminate someone for expressing a particular "protected" opinion.
Can A&E fire him for endorsing Mitt Romney?
Or for saying “I agree with the Pope and 2008 Obama on this matter”?
The left owns hollywood and television. This had to turn out the way it did, unless the Robertsons were willing to “fit in”. It has been heading toward this moment since about the second season. What other show on television shows frogs being prepared for dinner? Hogs being gutted? Hollywood can’t take this show. It is to real.
It would be A&E’s free speech rights that would be violated if they were forbidden from censoring whatever they want. If the duck dynasty clan wants free speech then they need to buy their own television station.
We all knew, or should have, that this was coming. It was only a matter of time.................
