Typical elite mentality. American socialists think that the bad socialist regimes of the past were just anomalies, that they can build a proper socialist system. No, the elite will rule over them, “What’s for me is not for thee.” Do they not see the irony in their leaders espousing people “paying their fair share,” espousing the government to create equality, and then taking subsidies? Meanwhile, the healthcare costs of many of the common people with lower salaries have increased, and they don’t get subsidies.

Harry Reid is 74 years old.

Why is he not on Medicare?

Or, if he’s spent his whole working life in government, shouldn’t he be eligible for old age health care benefits through his government retirement plan?

So, taxpayers are his employer?

He sure doesn’t behave like that’s the case.

Harry Reid has no problem reducing the pay of military vets who’s average retirement salary is less than $12,000 a year. He makes over $175,000 a year and needs a subsidy for his medical care? What a number one a$$hole! In addition, Reid wants to eliminate money and care for disabled American vets. He has no shame.

And who the hell is paying for these Federal Subsidies??

I'd say the system is already in the hole.

Of all the political low-lifes that I've ever seen, he has to rank down there among the most despicable.

And to think that we're paying for him to live at the Ritz. I'm sure the Founders would approve of what DC has become.

In addition, he no doubt put some zero-pay flunky intern down in front of a computer for 3 or 4 days to finally get his application filled out and submitted. “I have people for that” — unlike the rest of us.
