Recordings of 911 calls from last year's Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting were released Wednesday, and they not only paint a picture of anguish and tension inside the building, they also show Newtown dispatchers mobilizing help, reassuring callers and urging them to take cover.....
The calls were made public under a court order after a lengthy effort by The Associated Press. Prosecutors had argued that releasing the recordings would only cause more anguish for the victims' families....
One of the first callers to Newtown police was a woman who said in a trembling, out-of-breath voice: "I think there's somebody shooting in here at Sandy Hook school."
Asked what made her think so, she said: "Because somebody's got a gun. I caught a glimpse of somebody. They're running down the hallway. Oh, they're still running. They're still shooting. Sandy Hook school, please."...
Another call came from a custodian, Rick Thorne, who said that a window at the front of the school was shattered and that he kept hearing shooting.....
Thorne remained on the phone for several minutes.
"There's still shooting going on! Please!" the custodian pleaded as six or seven shots could be heard in the background. "Still, it's still going on!"
Within 11 minutes of entering the school, Lanza had fatally shot 20 children and six educators with a semi-automatic rifle. Lanza also killed his mother in their Newtown home before driving to the school. He committed suicide as police closed in.
Newtown police officers arrived at the school within four minutes of the first 911 call, but nearly six more minutes passed before they entered the building while they sorted out concerns over a possible second shooter, according to a prosecutor's report issued last week....

Slaughter porn.
It was not necessary to dredge these recordings up and release them to the public. Morbid curiosity. Some think we are edging closer to snuff movies when this tape of gratuitous suffering is made available for no other purpose than entertainment.
dumb asses give up their God given right to provide for their own self defense and then die cowering
trusting the government gets you killed
and were is the security footage?
Micheal Moore said he wanted to release footage of shool children getting shot by an evil black rifle (no lunatic required apparently) but he never did.
Why is that?
call number 3. from 1:52 to 1:55 woman in the background said
“There’s a rumor it’s fake” and the man says
‘Jenn, hang up, I need you to get off that phone! ‘
Interesting...
Yup. I’ve never been a fan of media broadcasting 911 calls. It serves no legitimate purpose.
Here is a full transcript — check it out here.
Oh, they have a purpose. The little frauds are trying to keep the Sandy Hook scandal alive so that they can keep their gun-grabbing agenda on track.
These "Sandy Hook 911 emergency call tapes" are designed to stir up emotion and angst toward firearms and their lawful owners.
Most of the MSM doesn't pursue this type of atrocity for entertainment. They will use it for gun control, but that agenda for this incident is completely worn out also. The only agenda I see that could possibly be left is some kind of "proof" that it "actually" happened.
Bingo.
This whole thing is just weird from the get go.
Sure. Tell them to get under their desks, where they can neither run nor fight. If they're not going to arm the teachers, at least tell the kids to swarm the guy when he enters the room. Throw things: books, lunchboxes, shoes, even your iPad (which won't do you much good when you're dead).
Once the killer enters the room, you're as good as dead anyway. You won't end up any more dead by fighting back.
If only a teacher or other staff member had been armed. If only...
Was the head custodian out that the acting head custodian was needed?
If only the custodian Rick Thorne had a gun.
He was right there and sounded ready willing and able to go in after him but had to wait 10 minutes for the police.
That’s what these tapes show.
For some reason, I can’t get the tape to show minutes and can’t get it to rewind at the 1:52 mark so it takes too long to hear it. I did listen to it twice and can’t really say if Jen says “fake” or something else. It is interesting that the guy immediately tells her to get off the phone.
Can someone else verify what Jen is saying?
That doesn’t show what Jen was saying in the background. She’s definitely saying something that sort of sounds like “fake” but I can’t tell for sure.
