Hillary under water in shocking new poll
American Thinker ^ | 12/03/2013 | Thomas Lifson

The news keeps getting worse and worse for the Democratic Party as it contemplates 2014 and 2016. The congressional wing of the part finds itself strapped to Obamacare, a disaster that promises to anger voters even more next year than this, with tens of millions losing coverage through employer-provided policies, and back-end website chaos leaving people who thought they were covered uninsured when show up at the emergency room.

But Democrats comforted themselves with the notion that the "historic first" strategy that worked so well with Barack Obama would repeat itself in 2016 with Hillary Clinton becoming the Republic's first woman president. The excitement over the 51% of the population that is female mobilized to push Hillary and the entire ticket to success has been almost the sole comfort for the donkeys.

But there are signs that this is as much a fantasy as the notion that if you like your insurance and doctor, you can keep them. Paul Bedard writes in the Washington Examiner:

"A new YouGov/Economist poll found Clinton, whose approval ratings have typically been sky high, with an unfavorable rating of 48 percent, more than the 46 percent who have a favorable opinion of her.

The YouGov pollsters said that the change in American attitudes toward Clinton "suggests that negative press surrounding the tragic September 11, 2012 attack on the consulate in Benghazi, Libya, which led to the death of U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three others, may have impacted views about Clinton and her tenure at the State Department."

During her time at State, Clinton's favorable ratings were typically 15 points higher than her unfavorable ratings."

I always believed that Hillary's approval ratings as Secretary of State were purely the result of the enthusiastic media coverage she received,

Dear me!

Mrs. Bill Clinton has taken a dip in the Leftstream Media Polls?

Whatever will “Killerary” Clinton do!?

BTW, never underestimate an underdog, especially if it is a female Clinton dog, i.e., a bitch.

If Hitler was the candidate for the Democratic Party, there would be absolutely no mention by American Big Media of the death camps.

Yes, it’s that bad now.

RE: Meaning 46% of our population is perfectly willing to kiss the hand that holds the whip - not out of fear, but with adoration.

46% heh? That’s statistically close to 47%... where did we see that number before?

I have no doubt.

Heck, we have death camps in the guise of Planned Parenthood.

They’ve killed 53 million innocent people in 40 years, ten times as many as Hitler did, not that he wouldn’t have, and the media is silent - obstructionist, actually.

“If Hilary wins the primary, I hope that we hear the word “Benghazi” until it no longer seems like a real word!”....

I have been promoting that since Benghazi. I would keep Benghazi in EVERY conversation and at every turn in the road to the election. People NEED to hear what she and odumbo did/did not do and the only way to do that is keep throwing “What Difference Does It Make” in her ugly face.
Benghazi WILL defeat her.

Whitewater should defeat her. The Rose Law Firm should defeat her. The 900 FBI files should defeat her. The $100,000 in “commodity futures” should defeat her. Ad absolute nauseum.

Let’s not forget her numerous and horrendous crimes. She belongs in jail, not in the White House. Any opponent should pound the crap out of her with ALL of them.

I can see the GOPe pick not wanting to make this a negative campaign. He will say she was a great SOS but he disagrees with her on the issues of the day.

Well, if the GOP(e) absolutely have to run with a male candidate, but, shucks, there is an alternative, you know.

The Republicans aren’t called the Stupid Party for no reason! Nominating Bob Dole in ‘96 taught them nothing - ‘stupid is as stupid does’, I suppose.

The leadership seem to be piled in a heap at the bottom of the slope on the left-hand side of the Bell Curve; and probably with no Viagra commercials in their futures, either... frankly, who would find them credible as men?

If the GOP keeps running behind the dems, making it sexist and racist, they will lose because the dems will win that every time.

But Palin will not beat Hillary. Palin is great. She is an arbiter and a campaigner, a face of conservatism and what is decent about our country, but she would be stomped upon and squashed by a Hillary campaign so fast that the entire 2016 from jan to nov would be a boring trek to the new presidency, probably the one to do in this country

You are correct about Benghazi. Who’s going to bring it up?

She will not survive the primaries. Her Democratic opponents will beat her down with the Benghazi stick before the GOP candidate even has a chance to wimp out about it.

As it pertains to Hildebeast, GOP must not eschew Benghazi as Romney was intimidated to do.
