T.J. HOLMES, SUBSTITUTE HOST: Bob, you covered the White House for a long time. Youve been around, and you were shaking your head there the whole time and wanting to chime in. What is it?
BOB FRANKEN, SYNDICATED COLUMNIST: Well, let's use the "P" word here. This is propaganda when it comes from the White House: government covering the government. Its not what youre supposed to do in the United States of America. But we have an administration, every president gets to the point where he dislikes the press. Its that simple. And every administration tries to manipulate the press. But this is the most hostile to the media that has been in United States history. Not only do we have this thing where theyre
HOLMES: Wait, you would go that far?
FRANKEN: I would go that far.
HOLMES: The most hostile in history?
FRANKEN: The most hostile because first of all, we have the situation where they are in fact shutting out the press. And by the way, when they say you can't have every photographer in, they know full-well that there's a thing called a pool, which is to say you have one representative from each of the media that represents all of them and shares the pictures and the sound and all that kind of thing. So that's totally disingenuous, which is a polite word.
But the reason I say most hostile is because of the Justice Department moves that they've made against the press. Obviously they have a contempt for the journalistic process. Those of us who are in journalism, of course, believe that it is vital if you're going to have informed electorate as opposed to one thats been propagandized.

“informed electorate as opposed to one that’s been propagandized”
Now I don’t care who you are—that there’s darned funny. The press is an abused spouse that screams at the electorate like police hauling their hubby to jail.
A diseased down at heel street walking whore complaining about a lack of respect from her customers
How does it feel to kiss the a## and still get sh## on. All for the agenda I suppose, nothing like dedication
“Propagandarized is good”
“If you like my propaganda you can keep my proganda”
So Pravda on the Potomac has developed a little hiccup. Mother Bam team just needs to gently pat the backs of their adoring press babies and after a few burps its back to the goo goo gaa gaa over Momma routine once again. Leg thrills included.
Franken is hard-core left....he likes the leftist notion of maximum incomes, stating "How many vacation homes does anybody need."
Leni
The Wizard of Oz (Tin Man, Lion, Scarecrow)could be used as a metaphor for our press: No Heart! No Courage! No Brains! And, just following Bowbama (Dorothy) down the Yellow Brick Road!
Look in a mirror, You media scum did it to yourselves.
F all liberal media RATS.
The media thinks they have it tough, they should be Americans.
Well said FWF
The Praetorian Media speaks...
President Obama on Thursday hailed his administration for its transparency.
This is the most transparent administration in history, Obama said during a Google Plus Fireside Hangout.
Must be a bitch to know what you are even as you complain about your lot. No wonder Leftists are the most sour and vicious folks out there - they hate themselves and everything they stand for yet continue to try to rationalize it in hopes of becoming the house slaves instead of the field slaves.
Please. The mainstream media has been an arm of Team BO from the days of when he took on Hitlery.
They are head over heels in love with the Clown.
Now they’re getting USED by him to the point where SOME of them are scratching their heads....ha.
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: the scorpion and the frog.
The MSM would worship him even more if he started executing journalists. After all, the Regime would leave just the “true believer” types; like Martin Bashir. It’s a win for the Regime and a win for the true believers in the MSM. The rest of the MSM enablers will perish ala Trotsky.
Surely these people see the humor...
Its a little late for the whores to start complaining now.
I have no sympathy for the type that puts party over country. MSNBC (and whatever guests they can muster) being the worst enablers tossed “journalism” out the door many years ago and since 2008 have simply shilled the democrat party line 24x7. NOW they are getting a taste of battered wife syndrome. Sorry guys (and gays and lesbo’s over there), too late to the party on this one; you’ll just have to put some ice on that for the next three years; suckers.
Franken, you’ve got it backward. The MSM of today is the most butt-licking in U.S. history.
From before he was elected, you gave off all the signals that you would ignore what he wanted to be ignored and highlight what he wanted to be highlighted.
You remind me of the girlfriend that hangs on the mobster. Never make him look bad no matter what he does. Always make him look good no matter what he does. Always look up to him with a smile and adoring eyes. Always forgive him when he mistreats you. Always forgive his violence to you and others. Always do what he asks, no matter how repellant. Always allow yourself to be used as he pleases. And love it.
Admit it, Franken. I am right, you are wrong. What he does comes naturally. You guys have to work hard to ignore it. Once that is established, he can ignore you since you have surrendered control to him.
Then only way out, the only way to take back your self-respect, if you want, is to gang up on him and let him have it with everything you can dig up.
But you are chicken poop and won’t do it. Franken, you will stick with ‘going after absentee landlord’ type stories, the way you got your “investigative reporter” start in Cleveland. You were a much better reporter back then. Now you make me laugh to go crying on TV, the spurned lover. You should be embarrassed.
DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!
