A newly published theory (2007) about the Kennedy assassination demands that we re-examine the Zapruder film, more closely than ever before.

Yeah, but conspiracy theories are so much more fun than the simple truth. You can sell books, make movies, create websites and blogs, all kinds of nifty things. Everyone knows that JFK was trying to flouridate the entire world’s water supply and aliens took him out.

JFK was too big to fail, only a massive conspiracy can kill a lefty God.

So...

Instead of parking your Chevy on the levee, you parked it on the Grassy Knoll?

Bang...4.8 seconds...Bang...0.7 seconds...Bang

Proves Oswald could not possibly have been the only shooter.

The day when Jack Ruby shot Oswald was the day that most of America automatically thought there was a conspiracy. That is the one thing that fueled that thought - just a mere short hours after Kennedy was shot.

Yep. Not sure how the Oswald believers explain “back, and to the left”. Especially, after seeing the motion stabilized Zapruder film that was recently released.

Strangely, Ruby’s shooting of Oswald actually argues against conspiracy. Oswald was scheduled to be transferred through the PD garage at a particular time. He suddenly decided to change his shirt, which delayed his departure by 10 minutes. That unscheduled delay gave Ruby the opportunity to shoot him. Had Oswald been transferred as scheduled, Ruby would not even have been there in time to pop him.

Agreed! Kill shot came from front right of limo...whether it was the grassy knoll or beyond it.

I never doubted that Oswald took the shots - but, I always had trouble with the single bullet theory. That is, until I saw a PBS special this last week that concentrated soley on the forensic ballistic evidence.

Everyone knows that the bullet was almost “pristine”, flattened on one side, with the lead almost “oozing” out the back of the full metal jacket. Seems almost impossible that this bullet could cause something like six separate wounds without being more deformed. Just look at what happened to the bullet from the head shot - it was almost completely destroyed [and it only caused one massive wound].

The PBS special fired the exact same ammunition from the exact same model gun through gel [simulating human tissue]. High-speed cameras showed that when bullets exited the gel, they started tumbling [rotating] off its axis of trajectory. So much so, that when they put a sheet of drywall about 2 feet in front of the gel, the bullets actually hit broadside - not nose first. This drywall simulation showed that the broadside hit matched up to Connelly’s wound in the back. He did not have a circular entrance wound.

Continuing on, they placed animal bone in front of the drywall and it showed that a bullet hitting broadside would indeed flatten and begin to push the lead out of the back of the full metal jacket - much like squeezing a tube of toothpaste.

Once I saw that, I saw that the single bullet theory was possible.

I would not like to risk offering a opinion as a hard and fast fact. I do sincerely believe that Oswald was the lone shooter. I have delved into the histories of the two previous assassins of American presidents.

(1) Charles Julius Guiteau 1841-1882.
(2)Leon Frank Czolgosz 1873-1901

The first named murdered President James Garfield. The second named murdered President William McKinley. Just as a matter of interest, both men were highly disturbed individuals. Each thought he had some sort of mission to right some sort of wrongs. I find a parallel with Oswald here.

I know that Oswald had it fixed in his mind of some short comings of a powerful nation- his own. He completely ignored the horrible conditions in two other nations. True, a book written on the subject of Oswald can be classed as fiction, but there is a fair analysis of the man.

Libra.
Don DeLillo Published 1988.

As for Jack Ruby, it seemed sheer chance that he came on to the scene of Oswald's departure. The authorities did not quite know themselves, exactly where and when Oswald was to be transferred. It was a last minute manoeuvre.

He was the head of the American branch of a worldwide conspiracy to sap and impurify our precious bodily fluids.
It’s actually a rather long story, but the Hamms beer people (”From the land of sky-blue waters”) hired Oswald to merely frighten the fluoride cartel.
Unfortunately there were some aliens from Alpha Centauri ....

Accidental changes in timing doesn’t remove the intent for killing.

I agree with you but I’m curious about something. The Carcano rifle has a 6 round magazine capacity. Of course less if converted to 8 mm as many were by the Germans, but this was a 6.5.
How many, if any, cartridges remained in the mag well after he put it down and left the depository? Presumably they looked for ejected brass as well. It is my understanding that he had time to make only three shots, even though he was an experienced shooter.
Again we’re talking about proof and not conjecture.

While I agree that Oswald did the shooting, HOW do you explain Ruby?

It was set up by higher powers. Ruby was NO distraught patriot-killing Oswald out of love for his dead President.

If ya believe that, I got a bridge to sell ya...
