Fuhrman made this claim in 2006, in his book, A Simple Act Of Murder: November 22, 1963.
As a matter of fact, the Warren Commission itself offered this possibility, which was never pursued because of the lack of a bullet strike. Posner's book also offers it as an alternative theory.

Funny how all these leftists demand there must be a conspiracy with regards to JFK, but they unquestioningly accept that Hinckley acted alone against Reagan to impress Jodie Foster.
