I never doubted that Oswald took the shots - but, I always had trouble with the single bullet theory. That is, until I saw a PBS special this last week that concentrated soley on the forensic ballistic evidence.
Everyone knows that the bullet was almost “pristine”, flattened on one side, with the lead almost “oozing” out the back of the full metal jacket. Seems almost impossible that this bullet could cause something like six separate wounds without being more deformed. Just look at what happened to the bullet from the head shot - it was almost completely destroyed [and it only caused one massive wound].
The PBS special fired the exact same ammunition from the exact same model gun through gel [simulating human tissue]. High-speed cameras showed that when bullets exited the gel, they started tumbling [rotating] off its axis of trajectory. So much so, that when they put a sheet of drywall about 2 feet in front of the gel, the bullets actually hit broadside - not nose first. This drywall simulation showed that the broadside hit matched up to Connelly’s wound in the back. He did not have a circular entrance wound.
Continuing on, they placed animal bone in front of the drywall and it showed that a bullet hitting broadside would indeed flatten and begin to push the lead out of the back of the full metal jacket - much like squeezing a tube of toothpaste.
Once I saw that, I saw that the single bullet theory was possible.
I’m sure ol’ Arlon appreciates your vote of confidence, if he can read it while screaming in HELL. File the latest CIA work-ups dutifully spewed by the propaganda media with the TWA Flight 800 fiction video.
The “massive” wound to his head was an exit wound, so Oswald is not even in consideration as its source.
