Did you know that eating or even talking about a peanut butter and jelly sandwich could be considered racist?
Thats right.
Apparently, its because people in some cultures dont eat sandwich bread. Verenice Gutierrez, principal of Harvey Scott K-8 School in Portland explained in and interview with the Portland Tribune:
Take the peanut butter sandwich, a seemingly innocent example a teacher used in a lesson last school year, the Tribune said.
What about Somali or Hispanic students, who might not eat sandwiches? Gutierrez asked. Another way would be to say: Americans eat peanut butter and jelly, do you have anything like that? Let them tell you. Maybe they eat torta. Or pita.
The Tribune noted that the school started the new year with intensive staff trainings, frequent staff meetings, classroom observations and other initiatives, to help educators understand their own white privilege, in order to change their teaching practices to boost minority students performance."Last Wednesday, the first day of the school year for staff, for example, the first item of business for teachers at Scott School was to have a Courageous Conversation to examine a news article and discuss the white privilege it conveys, the Tribune added.
Gutierrez completed a week-long seminar called Coaching for Educational Equity, a program the Tribune says focuses on race and how it affects life. She also serves on an administrative committee that focuses on systematic racism.
Our focus school and our Superintendents mandate that we improve education for students of color, particularly Black and Brown boys, will provide us with many opportunities to use the protocols of Courageous Conversations in data teams, team meetings, staff meetings, and conversations amongst one another, she said in a letter to staff.

Next time youre in the bread aisle at the grocery store, you may want to think twice. Sensitive liberal educators are now recommending the torta or the pita as a more culturally inclusive alternative.
Now that youve been made aware of the evil of PB&J, theres only one question left to answer: Is white bread more racist than whole wheat?
Nathan Harden is editor of The College Fix and author of the book SEX & GOD AT YALE: Porn, Political Correctness, and a Good Education Gone Bad.
What if other countries/cultures eat what we don’t are they racists then?
I don’t give a f’ what they are eating.
Sounds just like the USSR or North Korea.
She has Obama-Voter written all over her face.....................
If I make it on wheat or pumpernickel and not WHITE bread is it still racist?
Afghanistan - opium???
Sadly, even Catholic schools are not necessarily safe any more...................
I cannot guarantee that the first mealy-mouthed progressive racialist that says to my face that I have “privilege” of any kind will survive the encounter.
you sure?
Funny though, you never hear anyone eating PB&J on BLACK bread...
Hey, no problem. Just throw in some rodent or black dog meals and we’ll be OK.
I do. PB&J on rye is really good..................
What about kids with gluten allergies or Krohn's Disease or Celiac disease?.....you are sooooo insensitive!..............
“So if Mohammed has 5 mouse kebabs and he gives Ahmad 2 of them, how many mouse kebabs are left for the rest of the clan?”

I keep everybody on the Anglo and Hispanic sides of my family happy with PB&J Burritos.
There are only 3 viable/legal options and Conservatives have to decide if they want to become part of the solution or remain a reluctant part of the problem.
1) Home school if you have the time and ability.
2) Private school if you have the money.
3) Non-union charter schools.
Leaving that which is most precious to you in a PROVEN indoctrination center run by mainly unionized slug control freaks is a recipe for complete failure of the country.
The progressives seem to have no problem spending a lot of time implementing the plan of the Communist Manifesto and they are relying on the fact most of us will not take the time, effort, or spend the money to stop them. Unfortunately they are right. We let them get away with this for decades.
Well do we keep doing the same thing or take some perfectly legal actions to help stop the conveyor belt of liberal minds the communists needed to come out of our schools? Hoping your neighbor will do it will not cut it any more. You neighbor might be a liberal or too lazy to take action.
Why don’t those Somali and Hispanic students “celebrate the diversity” of PB&J sandwiches? Why not be “sensitive” to the fact that white kids eat them?
Oh, that’s right. Sensitivity and tolerance only go one way.
I cannot imagine the arrogance of moving to another country and then not wanting to see or hear anything about that country’s food, expecting the natives to only mention YOUR food and shut up about their own. It’s things like this that make me wish we could boot every racist immigrant out of this country.
