Sen. Claire McCaskill (D- Mo.) says Republicans are “misleading people” about ObamaCare, which she calls a “free market solution".
McCaskill told MSNBC viewers on Nov. 14 that ObamaCare, which mandates that people buy only government-approved insurance and has resulted in the cancellations of millions of policies, is a “free market solution”.
“I think we just want people to get the right information, instead of the misinformation that Republicans love to spread about this reform,” McCaskill said. “Scaring people, misleading people, this is a free market solution and we hope people take advantage of it.”

Earlier that same day, McCaskill was discussing the possible changes that could be made to ObamaCare on MSNBC’s Morning Joe program. She told MSNBC’s economic analyst Steve Rattner about the free market efforts of ObamaCare:
“I think we need to do something to reassure the country that we’re willing to work at this to make it better,” McCaskill said.
“We’re trying to do it free market here. The irony – everybody says ObamaCare is evil - we’re trying to do it free market. And as you know as well, or as better than anybody in the country, for every action in the free market there is a reaction, so we have to be very careful how we do this so we don’t have any unintended consequences.”
Last Thursday, President Obama said people may keep individual plans that haven't already been canceled, or they could buy similar ones if they're available -- even if those plans don't meet the coverage and cost requirements of Obamacare.
Reportedly, 4.8 million insurance cancellation notices have been issued to policyholders whose current plans will be illegal under ObamaCare. More cancellation notifications are expected to be sent out in the coming months.

Yes, we have a new talking point! I guess this one got passed out at the same time all the drones were instructed to only use the term “Affordable Care Act” and never say “Obamacare”.

We were already paying more for health care (both on a per capita basis and as a percent of GDP) than any other nation on earth. Obamacare will make the relationship even worse.
If this were the automobile marketplace, we would have been paying Mercedes prices and getting Toyota Corollas. Under Obamacars, we'd be paying Lamborghini prices and receiving 1986 Yugos for our money.

Clair McCaskill is as dumb as a weed, a box of rocks, a bag of hair.... She was VERY instrumental in helping Obama get around the citizenship requirement for the presidency. Clair is personally responsible for Obama’s scandals and the damage they’ve done to the USA. Clair needs to keep her stupid mouth shut!
This is 100% by design. She is not stupid (on this point). A big part of Obamacare is the false idea that it is based on “free market” competition. It is designed to fail, the free market will take the blame, and socialism will be the answer they present.
Most, if not all insurance prior to Obamacare (actually, PPACA or TuPACA, as I like to call it - governments drive-by solution to your health) was regulated by the individual states and overseen by state insurance commissioners.
TuPACA has done away with this, essentially, and regulated the entire 50 state market now - something which they had no right to do, even if John Roberts said they can or not.
Obama will fail at this, the Democrats will fail at this, and those cretins that vote for them will fail, and suffer, at this. They deserve it. Ridicule, denigration and derision. And, the Republicans should do NOTHING. They don't need to offer any solution but repeal. However, they will likely screw the pooch and offer up some appeasing compromise that they Democrats can then deride.
My observation is that male Democrat hacks are usually creative liars. While the female Democrat hacks mindlessly mouth cliches and propaganda lines that have already been bounced around 1000 times. Debbie Wasserman Schultz is a good example. Probably a carryover from raising young children. Repeat repeat repeat until it sinks into the kid
