So few people have enrolled in Obamacare that desperate Democrats have stooped to launching a war on women with demeaning and sexist ads.
The latest marketing campaign implies that young women would only be interested in Colorado's government-run health care exchange if they get coverage for birth control pills to have sex with strange men. The most offensive ad shows a 20-something woman named Susie holding a packet of birth control pills with an open-mouth, wide smile. She is wearing a flesh-colored, low-cut, sleeveless top, tight skinny jeans and open-toed black heels.
Susie is leaning against Nate, who is wearing an untucked shirt with the top four buttons undone to show his hairy chest. He has a smirk on his face and one hand in the pocket of his jeans.
OMG, hes hot!, Susie is shown saying. Lets hope hes as easy to get as this birth control. My health insurance covers the pill, which means all I have to worry about is getting him between the covers.

You can tell exactly what "Nora" is thinking in the ad:
"I haven't made the life choices necessary to let me financially support my lifestyle, but the Government is going to confiscate the property of those who did make the right decisions, and give it to me. Thanks, Obamacare!"
There was a study not long ago that showed that what makes the difference is marriage. Married women as a bloc vote differently than single women. Specifically, they vote more conservatively.
I’m glad they’re making distinctions; when they talk about how women vote I’m embarrassed to be female. Pinpointing it down to single women helps me out in that regard, but doesn’t help a couple of my sisters who are single and vote conservatively.
The communists have always wanted to pit the government against families, as the means to provide basic necessities and security for individuals. They are in competition with each other. When families succeed, they don’t need/want the government to be their sugar daddy. Communists have to undermine the family in order to get rid of their competition. That’s why communists have pushed a Godless society and social mores that prevent people from being able to form successful, lasting, functional families. And it’s why they attack the economy so that those who do have stable families are less able to provide for their families.
The family as the central unit of the society is disappearing before our very eyes. More and more people are turning over EVERYTHING to the government, as if the government was their mom and dad or spouse for life.
These must be SNL parodies? Right?
Sad days when reality mimics satire, and not the other way around.
No, unfortunately the people who designed the ads were the same/type as those that designed the Obamacare website.
(it will ALWAYS be Obamacare, because it certainly is NOT affordable and sure as heck does not care about anyone’s health)

Why does the black kid have a huge knife?
Are those real ads, or photoshop? The fact that I need to ask is depressing in itself.
That's where I got the images. I neglected to post one of the more egregious examples, here it is:
I can’t believe you would say such a thing. Sure, it’s true but in America you’re only allowed to dis Christians.
I suspect she isn’t that bad looking on the surface, but that is a very unflattering facial expression...it kind of looks like something else besides being happy...
Real. My, how times change...
This morning, my husband and I were at the town’s park by the lake, and couldn’t help but notice the car parked next to us. A woman was asleep in her clapped-out car, and obviously living in it. It was stuffed full of boxes, clothes, trash, etc. The car was covered with liberal whack-o bumper stickers. There was a Scripture reference from Amos (class envy theme). Obama stickers, of course. One that said “Poor children are better than rich children.” (WTF?) Many more. But the one that stood out, considering the circumstances of this woman, had something to do with stopping the REPUBLICANS’ war on women.
We were tempted to knock on the door, wake up the vagrant, and ask, “So how’s that workin’ out for ya?” Obviously, King Hussein wasn’t doing much for this particular woman. Of course, she may have been grasping a packet of free birth control pills; we didn’t look that closely.
Nah, what it does is make sluts look like blithering idiots.
The comment on the one ad really jumped out at me: “Just graduated, waiting on tables, and having fun,” followed by the comment about eating Ramen noodles. That really IS the reality of so many young people now, but the “having fun” part seems forced. I wonder how long these people will go before they realize they aren’t having fun, and that where they are now is where they are probably always going to be, and that “free” health care and casual sex will not give them a purpose in life. Someday will all this coalesce into some mass movement of rage and frustration?
Seems odd that most of the models in these ads are white. What’s up with that? Typically, ads in print and TV are comprised of about 50% blacks (even though the population is about 11% black); you can’t get away from it, for Pete’s sake. So what’s the mindset of the people creating these particular ads? I don’t get it, but there must be some reason to try to appeal to white folk.
Good one !
