Never watch the Leno show; maybe some Freeper who did catch it could fill us in on how it went for Cruz?
How did he look?

When Jay said that “obamacare is the law of the land, we should just get on with it,” Cruz should have replied that “slavery was the law of the land, should we have moved on with that also?” A missed opportunity to get the crowd behind him.

On Fox, the ladies and Breastisters** show leg....... Cruz shows boot....... Texas black boot.
He is super cool and laid back. He makes point after point after point and the audience applauds.
He’s da man!!!

I watched a little.
The crowd seemed very enthusiastic for Cruz, even before he was on.
But Jay invited so many straw men into the room that I just turned it off and went to bed. Kind of disappointed at how much of a jerk Leno turned out to be. He could have at least started off with some cordiality. It did make Cruz seem pretty cool and collected though.

Nothing “surprising” here at all! Just because Leno has been after 0bama a little bit, people think he’s now some friend of conservatives. But he was simply brutal on Bush when he was in office, when I stopped watching him.
I used to love the guy, but stopped watching sometime early in the Bush 43 presidency. he was cruel and relentless toward GWB and other conservatives.

The NSA listens to Jay Leno’s phone calls, just like they listened to John Roberts’ phone calls. You get marching orders from Obama and you follow them.

"Serious" TED CRUZ rocks TONIGHT SHOW with "Bad Jay" LENO [PHOTOS, analysis, FReeper "after party"!]
Several dozen FReepers (and FRiends) met with Senator Cruz after his appearance on the "Tonight Show." Here is FReeper Loud Mime's WONDERFUL PHOTO of him speaking to the Politichicks, and others at that PRIVATE event...
The "ghostly" image just above the Senator's right sleeve is, of course, RonDog,
with my "game face" on -- directing from "behind the scenes." ;)

Watched it all. Ted did great!
I am glad that Leno asked hard questions because the voters have hard questions and Ted answered them all beautifully. With regard to his not responding to the Obamacare is law query with a reference to slavery being law, I am sure he thought the potential danger of that response was just too great.

I thought the Good Senator from Texas did quite well for himself with Leno.
Calm, cool, collected... even though Leno tried to go “gotcha”.

Leno really showed his true evil self. Shocking, actually. Cruz kept his composure while Leno jumped in for the attack then wouldn't let Cruz finish his answers.
Cruz missed a golden opportunity to say "Slavery was once the law in America, too, Jay" in response to "it's the law" comments by Leno regarding 0bamacare.
To: RonDog
Cruz was awesome. I love how his demeanor doesn't change and he remains relaxed and unflappable, even when being directly challenged. He had great answers for every question, and remained disciplined and on message. The audience was also behind him. It is about time we had a candidate this good!
