More show votes - everyone knows Reid stuffs these into the trash. THE GOP'S LEVERAGE IS ON APPROPRIATION BILL AND RAISING THE DEBT CEILING WHERE THEY HAVE ABSOLUTE CONTROL OF THE ISSUE.

The GOP leadership has no stomach for a fight and the party needs to disappear. They GOP had a perfect chance to postpone Obamacare but they would rather attack each other.

People like Cruz are warriors vs. the get along crowd that has allowed the debt to become 17 trillion.
End the RNC and start fresh.

I say nay. People wanted Obama, people got Obama.

Let the country have 0care full and unabridged, and then we'll see how eager they are to elect another democrat in 2016.

Really dumb. Really, really dumb. How can you keep your policy if the HC company no longer offers it? If it’s illegal for them to offer it?

Agreed.
However, I actually think Reid and 0bama missed a golden opportunity by turning down the GOP proposed one year delay.
Now they have to answer questions about all the incompetency and disastrous effects of the law clear until the elections.
And votes like this will just continue to put the dems on the defensive.
Delaying the pain until after the midterms would likely have led to bad election results for us and therefore perpetual and endless pain from this disastrous law.
Now the dems own it and can’t escape the consequences. The GOP-E handed them a couple of life lines (which I nervously hoped they wouldn’t take because of their own pride and stupidity).
Reid has given the GOP a sledgehammer to swing away with until the law is shattered into a billion pieces IMO.
That said, if I were Speaker there wouldn’t be Capitol police or secret service funding until the law is repealed.
I wouldn’t be playing around with fake “shut downs”.

A bold move would be to have the GOP in the house leave DC until the president agrees to postpone the rest of 0-care and look at the budget.

House GOP tweaks Obama .......

'The Hill' must be unaware of the Senate Democrats who are lining up to approve this same legislation .....?

Panic: Desperate Democrats Propose Law to Restore Obama's 'Keep Your Plan' Pledge

Hey, no one told us you would lose your health insurance. We read it in the papers like you.

This is not a "show" vote.

You are absolutely correct. John Boehner and Mitch McConnell want the House to give up the power of the purse—to make it easier for the LEFT to finish the job of turning the US into a socialist state. They will increase the debt to levels that will crush us and print dollars to the point it collapses.

George Soros and the international leftist movement is on track. Soros is setting up the US Dollar for its fall off the cliff—like he did to Great Britain. THIS GOES WAY BEYOND OBAMA.

So, now, the Republicans are going to "rescue" Obama from the consequences of his deceit and outright lies to "the People"?

Painful as it is, the only path to liberation from the new tyranny being imposed on America may be to allow the deceit to be fully played out in consequences, both intended and unintended.

House Republican leaders announced Wednesday the lower chamber will vote next week on a bill that would allow people to keep their health insurance plan if they like it.

Putting aside for a moment whether or not introducing this bill is a good idea, just for the sake of discussion, what happens if this bill passes and lands on Obama's desk for his signature? Does he sign it and admit to being a fraud when he previously said "If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan?" Does he veto the bill, further enraging the people who are being dropped by their insurers? It could be interesting.

The concept behind Upton’s bill is being supported by some Democrats, including two in the Senate — Sens. Mary Landrieu (D-La.) and Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) — who have proposed a similar bill.

I’m thinking they both will face the voters in 2014. I know Landrieu will.

The vote hits at President Obama

BS. This will help Obama. He'll claim that he is keeping his promise by insuring we can all keep our plans and doctors. Now he can simply blame the insurance companies for not taking everyone back.

This is so bogus. The feds cannot force an insurance company to sell anything. Besides which even if they do this, if those old policies people like can't get new people to sign up, they'll wither away. And Obamacare gets in place because the dissent is quelled.

Face it. The RINOs and even some "conservatives" want Obamacare. They're still playing us. I'm disgusted.
