Health & Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius testifies on the hill, Wednesday, concerning healthcare.govs problems since its October 1 rollout. Shell answer questions before the House Energy & Commerce Committee.
This is the committees second hearing related to the website problems. Last week, four government contractors hired to help build the site testified. Tuesday, Marilyn Tavener, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator, appeared before the Ways & Means Committee.
CMS is responsible for setting up the federal marketplace for insurance exchanges and the Medicaid expansion. Rep. Fred Upton chairs the committee and Rep. Henry Waxman serves as Ranking Member.
Mooch should be thanking Reggie and Rev Wright for all that Beard Bling.
And why aren’t they asking if Michelle Obamas personal relationship with an executive of the company had anything to do with them being given the no bid contract.
Yes I saw or heard that also, that the Statute gave her as HHS the authority to set the date.
I do not know how to reconcile her words.
But today she said there was not time to test, yet the House proposed a delay for a year (which she agreed would be a more adequate test time). They did not accept that reasonable, sensible delay. So irresponsible to roll out this abomination. She should not be let off the hook.
The Dems keep up the line that 95% of the people will be unaffected by Obamacare. That is simply not the case. So far no one has used the union objections to Obamacare.
This is just the first chapter in a long story on Obamacare. The costs of the subsidies will ultimately be the biggest part of the story.
Crap! Upton limiting question time to 2 mjn. Idiot!

But that wont be till after the election as Obama delayed that mandate, unless its only delayed till next October.
Republicans... most of them... are all ass and very little britches.
Has she given a lengthy, detailed defense statement, and then taken the 5th?

So a democrat just reports that fraudulent websites posing as government healthcare have been getting information from people, especially seniors. “Can you promise us this will be stopped”. She actually answers that they took great care to prevent this......LOL their great care didn’t work.

My Favorite Email this week:
WARNING!
There are over 700 fake Obamacare websites ready to swipe your personal information.
ProTip: The real site is the one that does not work.
Ohio moved into Medicaid over the objection of legislature - through a controlling board.
Why is it on CSPAN 3? Whenever a hearing is potentially damaging to the Administration, it gets dumped to the “less available) C-SPAN3. Who makes these decisions?

Oh, you mean they should have a plan? The GOP have a plan? LOL
They will have to give employees 90 days before the coverage runs out. They will want them off the rolls by January 1 so they can just pay the fines starting on that date.
