Housing development here in Maryland is so out of control as its been for a decade, that the deer are everywhere.

On our lawns , ripping up our gardens and bushs, dead on the roads.

Just again last week I was able to once again luckily able swerve my car around one just standing in my lane just watching me, without having an accident.

Those cages have been there for at least five years. You should see what those wolves did to a kid’s horse, right in front of her house.

The wolves need EBT cards.

That’ll keep them from gettin all feral-like.

UN Agenda 21.

Evacuate the residents of the inner states to high-rise containment facilities in the coastal ghettos so that the interior of the country can be a Walden paradise for the ruling class where they can build their dachas and live in bliss.

this paragraph is buried in the article:

“In Catron County, New Mexico, aggressive Mexican gray wolves are terrorizing residents. Here wolves are killing pets in front yards in broad daylight, and forcing parents to stand guard when children play outside. The threat has become so ominous the local school district has decided to place wolf shelters (kid cages) at school bus stops to protect school children from wolves while they wait for the bus or parents. These wolf proof cages, constructed from plywood and wire, are designed to prevent wolves from taking a child. The absurdity of this scenario is mind-numbing. What kind of society accepts the idea of children in cages while wolves are free to roam where they choose.”

Those who believe ecosystems must to return to an original pre-human settled state, use the ESA to protect species from harm by forcing mankind to modify behaviors.

It hasn't been in a "pre-human" state for 10,000 years. Many animal species were extirpated by people long before the arrival of Europeans. Vegetation had been selected for adaptation to fire management. "Restoration" without people can never work.

I know this, because native plant restoration is what I do.

I recommend the 3-S method of dealing with this problem.

Shoot Shovel Shutup

Canadian and Mexican wolves, doing the work our wolves won’t do. Next we need Mexican rats, fleas, and flies to carry diseases our vermin will not.

To think that a child is worth more than a wolf is the same old fashioned thinking that is against Algore’s notion that three rare trees are worth more than your mother's life.

These tend to work rather well for getting rid of Wolves and Coyotes(among other things) that are causing problems. One may want to do some testing/research before deciding on a caliber/configuration. AR type rifles have to be among the most versatile ever made.

I'm sure that, like most things, the morons who wanted to re-introduce wolves thought they were cute, cuddly, big dogs who would be nice if you just treated them nicely. I personally never gave much thought to wolves, kind of thinking the same thing, until I saw some of them stuffed and mounted in a sporting goods store.

It dawned on me immediately - they ain't dogs. They are another, dangerous, species altogether. It was scary to see them up close, DEAD. I can't imagine being around a pack of them alive, even with an automatic rifle.

This certainly isn’t interstate commerce. Where does the US Constitution give the federal government the power to declare protected species? Could someone please point that out, because I’m not seeing it.

BTW, I have no problem with state laws protecting species. I don’t even oppose the federal government acting in an advisory capacity on endangered species. They could even help the states reach mutual agreements to protect certain species like wolves, but I don’t see how they can legally (constitutionally) make it a federal crime for someone to kill a wolf.

I’ll bet it’s safer to wait for a school bus in Catron County New Mexico than in South Central LA. Seriously.

We should release a dozen wolfs in Central Park. More in Hyde park. Bunches in San Fran. Let them commies see what they are doing to the West.

There is a reason wolves were hunted to near extinction.

It is the same reason we should open the hunt again.

In the time of settling this country people had to deal with wolves killing the animals they were raising for food and protect themselves and their children from wolves. Settlers determined that wolves were such a danger that the only good wolf was a dead one and as time went on there was no more danger from wolves. Until environmentalists decided to bring back the wolf population into the wild. If you know the history of wolves in this country this plan makes as much sense as releasing serial killers and the like back into the community because at one time they were there naturally as well.

The government is a classic case of taking off your socks and turning them inside out because “now they are clean again”.
