The potential Republican 2016 presidential candidate made a point to clear up the misconception in an interview with The Philadelphia Inquirer published Sunday, discussing the approaching one-year anniversary of the storm.
“It was a handshake like you would shake hands with anyone,” he said. “It was a perfectly natural, casual, normal type of greeting between two people. And you know, it’s become legend.”

I fear you are right...the GOPe will annoint either Christie or Jeb as the savior. There is no way that Christie is NOT going to run. None at all...well, unless his health goes bad due to his weight issue.
I’m not sure that Christie’s NJ attitude will play well outside of NJ/NY...but the press is in LOVE w/ Christie. If HC runs...the GOPe will believe they HAVE to have a moderate.

I don’t know that it matters whether Hillary runs. The Republican party decided after the last presidential election that Romney lost because he was too conservative and they will need a more liberal candidate to woo the Latin vote.
