If computer glitches are not enough of a problem, President Obama's healthcare law also has a legal glitch that critics say could cause it to unravel in more than half the nation.
Critics of Obama's healthcare plan are suing over a part of the law that offers tax credits through state exchanges. If they win, the program falls apart in 36 states.

Even if you think there are 57 states as does President Spicoli.
The general problem is that a guy could be in a state where they got the tax credits and the guy benefits. Then the guy moves to another state, finding himself in a state that didn’t get the credits.
Fairness creeps into the conversation and it’s to say this is acceptable....even for a short period of time. Do they intend to keep this practice in place for the next fifty years?
I just don’t see how it passes the logic test. Even the liberal side of the Supreme Court will ask some stupid questions and be more inclined to note this as a tax credit issue and not a health care issue. Taxes at the federal level....have to be level and fair...you can’t invent some gauged system to reward some taxpayers and not others.
It more than half the states, but is it more than half the population? Probably 75% of the population seeing that the Deep Blue states are the biggest population-wise.......That would KILL Obamacare........

Democrats had better accept this “gift horse”. Obamacare is shaping up to be the mother-of-all train wrecks and the Dems are squarely responsible for this mess. It is a political bomb that could damage their party for decades.
If I was a Dem, I’d want to cut my losses as quickly as possible and get beyond Obamacare before things get worse. The lawsuit is a convenient way out.
Technically they got something right. You don't criticize your child for not totally wiping his or her butt right the first time.
You give him a gold star and encourage him.
I’m in the blue part of Ohio, and I know some moderates. Their take on this is:
- We needed health reform, the GOP did nothing, so we got Obamacare. Yeah, it’s a mess, but it’s a start.
- Republicans should quit whining and help fix it.
- This type of lawsuit only costs money, and makes the GOP look worse to these moderates.
These are not my views, but we can’t win elections without moderates.
So because congress was so dumb as to not have subsidies with state exchanges, Obama simply made new law. How silly that the states do not understand we now have a King.

You know, whatever damage is done, the Republicans will do their best to make sure it’s not so bad for the Democrats.
“Moderates” are simply liberals (socialists) who can’t bring themselves to admit it.

That sure looks to be the case. Just yesterday Issa was on the afternoon Cavuto Show (Fox) and he said words to the effect that “we want to help make this work” (not exact quote but close). It really was an astonishing and self-destructive remark. But then again, that is standard operating procedure for the hapless Republicans. They are beyond stupid.
