“The only people who feel there shouldn’t be more coming in to the federal government from the rich people are the Republicans in the Congress,” Reid told the radio host, according to Roll Call. “Everybody else, including the rich people, are willing to pay more. They want to pay more.”

Reid is onto something here in saying that people are willing to pay more.

The hard working citizens of the United States of America are the most generous in the world, especially when asked to donate to help the poor, to respond to a natural disaster, to donate to their favorite charity, to their church, and so on.

But Reid cannot be more WRONG in claiming that people are willing to pay more taxes to an incompetent, inept, corrupt government that spends their tax money enriching themselves and their cronies, buying votes, and paying for mismanaged, unpopular programs and failed policies. Reid is NOT using his common sense. Half the people of this country pay ZERO taxes.

Harry Reid: 'Everybody ... Willing to Pay More' Taxes

Like John Kerry?

John Kerry Saves $500,000 By Docking 76-Foot Luxury Yacht Out Of State

BOSTON (AP) -- Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry is docking his family's new $7 million yacht in neighboring Rhode Island, allowing him to avoid paying roughly $500,000 in taxes to the cash-strapped Bay State.

If the "Isabel" were kept at the 2004 Democratic presidential nominee's summer vacation home on Nantucket, or in Boston Harbor near his city residence, he would be liable for $437,500 in one-time sales tax. He would also have to pay $70,000 in annual excise taxes.

Harry doesn’t seem to understand the term ‘Capital Strike’. Been going on since 2007, the year the ‘Progressives’ set the agenda. There are still many on ‘slow roll’ that will that’s WILL shut it down!

Harry Reid can piss off. Losing nearly half my check to state and federal taxes is way over the top. Some of it goes to insurance and retirement...not nearly enough. Cut the waste. Cut off the bribes to the moocher class. Quit pouring money on bankers to bail out their stupidity.

Harry Reid: "...there’s not going to be a grand bargain on — there’s not going to be a small bargain,” Reid said. “We’re just going to have to do something to work our way through sequestration.”

Well, there you have it.

Next time, according to Harry, the Pubbies' job is to give way on sequestration. Otherwise, he and Obama will shut down the government and blame it on the Republicans.

Anything like a "Grand Bargain" is a pipe-dream -- which, I believe, is a good thing. Why even attempt such a thing with a party that won't negotiate in good faith?

Harry Reid talks more $hit than the radio.

He and MOST politicians, Ted Cruz NOT included, have forgotten the cardinal rule of politics.

"The parade only moves as fast as its slowest members."
