Hannity Suggests ‘Third Party’ to Sarah Palin, Who Won’t Rule Out 2014 Senate Run
Mediaite ^ | October 16, 2013 | Andrew Kirell

Posted on 10/16/2013 10:03:59 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

On his radio show Tuesday evening, Sean Hannity and Sarah Palin lamented the current state of the Republican Party and both wondered aloud whether the time is nigh to form a third party for disillusioned conservatives.

“There’s no difference between the two parties, at this point,” Hannity asserted. At another point during the interview, Palin suggested the president’s actions on the debt ceiling have, thus far, been “impeachable” offenses. The two discussed whether it’s plausible to jump ship to a third party now that the GOP has seemingly “abandoned” both of them and their followers.

Later on during the discussion, Hannity mentioned to Palin that there is much speculation about her upcoming speech in the caucus state of Iowa. Some have suggested she’s gearing up for a 2014 Alaskan senatorial challenge against incumbent Democrat Mark Begich; others are wondering whether she intends to throw her hat into the ring for 2016.

“Are any of these things in your mind at all? Or is this just nonsense?” Hannity asked. Palin’s somewhat dodgy response [emphasis added]:

Not sounding cliché or flighty on this or anything, Sean, my mission is to help the good guys who are in there wanting to make a difference. I don’t know if that entails me holding a position, having a title. Sometimes the title shackles you, and you’re not free to get out there and do what needs to be done. Look, Ronald Reagan said — and I shared this with the vets on Sunday at the World War II memorial — I said that Ronald Reagan reminded us that some people live an entire lifetime wondering if they ever made a difference in the world. Our vets and those who are supportive of our vets which, to me, is very symbolic of all that really matters in this country at this point, the priorities in our government. Our vets and their supporters, they need not ask of themselves whether they made a difference. They’ve made all the difference. What I want to do is make a difference. And I don’t know if that would require me to have a title.

Got that?

[Ed. note: The headline has been updated to reflect the fact that it seems Hannity and Palin were solely discussing the 2014 Alaskan senate race, and not the 2016 presidential primaries.]

Conservative Party? Isn’t Sarah big on libertarians like the naturally curley haired Rand Paul?

If you call yourself a conservative, then how can you continue to participate in such a horrible joke?

How can parents send their kids to a school where the Principal cancelled the Pledge to the Flag because of government shutdown.

The current exchange rate is 43.19 pesos per dollar.

When I was last there in 65 the exchange rate was 4 pesos to the American dollar, no script accepted. Jitney rides were I believe 10 centavos.

Why would Palin give up her national forum for the next year in exchange for the local limelight of an Alaska senate run?

Me, too. I think the other side has mastered election fraud,

Bingo! Health care applications asks your political affiliation, common core also asks your kids what political affiliation their parents are.

Remember we were told that Obama was putting together a database unlike anything the world had ever seen, by noe other than Maxine Waters.

The fight to restore our nation is what is being called, “The end of the beginning.” The tinder is lit and the fire is being started. The nation is waking up and soon will smell the coffee.

Sort of like that Illinois Senator who ran for President in 2008.

Don't forget. We Republicans are held to a different standard than Democrats. She'd never get away with it.

You almost have me convinced to move...

It wasn't an overnight decision for me. But, at the time when I made the decision, I was living full-time by myself in a motorhome. I enjoyed that lifestyle and met a lot of nice people. I enjoy the freedom that it offers, of waking up in the morning and deciding that you want another view of the world.

But, because I had decided on living within my social security pension, it still cost most of that each month. I held the title to the motorhome and everything inside. My pantry was stocked and my freezer with full. I had separated from my second wife a few years before, and had slept in an empty bed.

I have some friends that have moved to the Philippines because they met some sweet Filipina online. So, I looked around and communicated with hundreds of girls of all ages. I had posted an ad describing my situation and got replies from girls aged 19 to 68. Some of them were stunningly beautiful, while others needed a bag. There were single moms and even some lady-boys among them. But, one 37-year-old lady struck my fancy and we communicated back and forth for a while. I decided, after checking out the area as well, that she had a lot of potential.<

So, I sold everything including the RV, then flew here on a giant Airbus with just two suitcases in the hold and a carry-on and computer in the overhead. I arrived in Cebu in the middle of the night and passed through customs to receive my tourist visa. You can get it at the airport when you arrive. You can also get it before you come and can find the info on the Philippine Embassy website.

Rather than wasting the money for a few hours in a hotel, I just hung out at the airport until I took a taxi to the dock where I took at 5:30 AM SuperCat ride to Ormoc City. A couple of days later, I had rented a house on the beach and met that young lady. She looked better than her pictures and we hit it off right away. She had been married and they do not allow divorce here. I had been married and still waiting for a divorce. There are many living together in that situation, and the age difference doesn't seem to matter as well. But, after a few months of her begging me to take her to America, I decided she was not right after all.

But, I have been living well by myself. I hired a housekeeper to clean and cook. That cost me about 2500 pesos a month. I bought a Honda scooter for my basic transportation for 62,000 pesos. You can buy autos here of course, both new and used, but I used my fathers Lambretta when I was a kid, and this one looks and rides the same. I also use the tricycles and multi-cabs when warranted, and pay eight pesos into town and eight pesos home.

I chose the Philippines because English is widely spoken here. It is a Christian nation, largely Roman Catholic, and the people are the friendliest in the world. I've known Filipinos all my life. They are family oriented and enjoys simple life. I've made friends here that are millionaires and others that live in bamboo houses. They all treat me the same, as I do them. Because I am a “foreigner”, the children all giggle when I say hello, and smiles abound from everyone.

So, if anybody is interested in a new place to live, I can recommend the Philippines. There are other FReepers already here and room for more. You can live cheaply, and comfortably. With my MacBook and FaceTime, I can video chat with my loved ones and friends on my high-speed Internet service. You can have an iPhone here or a Blackberry, and every comfort you need. If you are a single guy and want to find someone to share your life and bed, they are plentiful to say the least. If you want a chance to find a Christian girl, I can recommend the following free site:

http://www.jaderune.com

WARNING! The ladies are screened before they are able to post about themselves, but use discretion with all. If you just want to come over and have a companion sleep with you (and whatever) they are plentiful as well. But if you sincerely want to find a mate, plan on meeting their family first, and progress from there. It's easy to find physical release, but most of us are looking for something more permanent.

After touring Alaska for 10 days, I can say good luck. But based on comments I got from people in casual conversation, there are a LOT of folks who are not very excited about her.

Parnell, OTOH, seemed to be well liked.
