Veterans from every branch of the military have a message for our government. The message will be delivered in person at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13, in Washington, D.C. and at war memorials all across the nation.
The Million Vet March on the Memorials is a grassroots movement started by five military brats, a term used to describe children of military members, to honor the nation's veterans.

Sneak Peek: Palin, Lee and Cruz on vets and gov’t ‘slimdown’
Former governor Palin and Senators Mike Lee and Ted Cruz sound off on the death benefits controversy and the treatment of our veterans during the part...
That was the impression I got, as well. It looked like a couple of cooler heads were conversing during the course of the video. Several of the officers looked very uncomfortable...

I agree. It is disgusting that even FOX didn’t cover this. Today will turn out to be an historic turning point in our Country’s History and they chose to not be a part of it. In doing so they run the risk of being relegated to the dustbin of history with the rest of the old media.
Jim and All Freepers,
It’s humbling to see the WWII vets coming to their memorial more than 60 years after the war.
It’s humbling to see the Viet Nam vets, who were so dishonored 40 years ago, continue to patriotically serve this nation.
And a new generation of vets have become activist and stand ready to defend freedom.
Myself, I am a cold war veteran who never saw combat. But I am grateful for the USA and for all those who have served, and all those who support those who serve.
There are new politicians — apparently, not like the old politicians — who deserve our support. There is a revolutionary spirit in them and that brings me hope.
To all thanks for your kind words about the photos. And be sure to hit the Freepathon thread,
Oh and I bet that Todd didnt answer you, but smiled...
Exactly!
Got it...check out the video in post #338...runs about five minutes, and well worth watching.
ROFL! Good job!
There was an earlier confrontation near the WWII memorial around 10:30 when things got a little tense. The police withdrew.
All the pics in post 315 after the helicopter are from that retreat. They did retreat.
Nice pics. And yes, just like old times with the DC Chapter. I should have stayed longer and went to the Spite House with everyone.

Yes, I saw those pics. The crowd was a bit larger than what appears in them, but that was it. It was definately a confrontation as the police were getting it pretty good from the crowd.
Yes, your photos are terrific. Thanks for the on-site coverage and for representing those of us so far away but there in spirit.
Music to go with all those truckers supporting our vets in D.C.!

I have been on facebook most of the day, watching as many vids as I could before that liberal site takes them down. Bunch of pansies.
I’ve also emailed the alphabet news sites and told them they should be ashamed for hiding this kind of thing from the American people.
Going to be a great show tomorrow!!
Thanks :)
The photos are OwenKellogg’s and he represented us!
I’m so sorry about the confusion.
God bless and keep you.
