NO THANK YOU!

Screw the GOP, I don’t want anything they want.

Nothing.

I’m thinking of the persuasive factor.

It is always better to be more than a person that says no - it is always better to offer alternatives that are better, that people can see and touch and feel. It helps them when they are on the fence.

Offering an alternative when they see what they are getting into is perfect timing.

You’re so lucky! I’m stuck with that horrid Marc Veasey because I live 2 streets outside of Kenny Marchant’s district. Thank God for Ted Cruz!

but keep things that can make insurance more affordable, competitive

This is the problem.....the conversation shouldn't be about insurance at all. It should be about making healthcare more affordable and competitive!!!

McCain has been taking the Democrat side since 2000 when George W. Bush block his presidential aspirations and he took it personally. I still contend that the GOP-e cut a deal with McCain in 2004 that he could be the nominee in 2008 if he would just stop trashing Bush during the 2004 campaign.

Usually, the reigning president is a big campaign asset during a presidential run and GWB was nowhere to be found in 2008 and McCain didn’t want him anywhere near him anyway. None of Bush’s minions from Cheney on down lifted a finger for McCain. It was the biggest “stand down” I’d ever seen of an outgoing president’s administration.

Yet the GOP-e was clearing McCain’s path to the nomination as if he was owed it.

We had the chance to knock him off at the knees the last time with a credible primary candidate and all many could do was jump to McCain’s defense and trash someone who would be far more conservative than this fraud.

It isn’t worth being a registered republican anymore.

Whoa, that is not true unless your state has open primaries. It would be much easier to push the RINOs aside than start a new party from scratch with any hope for success. Hang in there, please!

Very good points-the cancer had metastasized long before I ever realized it.

The GOP needs to pass their own version.

The GOP version should include putting the whole thing on hold for 10,535 days, one for each page of the 7 1/2 feet of regulations. They should delay it until those regulations are posted on the internet.

It should be delayed until each congress person reads the regulations personally and not have a boatload of staff read them and report back. And it should be delayed until taxpayers, those who don’t have a boatload of staff, have a chance to read them.

Working taxpayers who have jobs will have to surrender liesure time to read those regulations. Is congress willing to give up so much free time to read them?

This is just another “You have to pass it before you know what’s in it” deal.

Fine, lets deal with insurance. Perhaps being able to shop across state lines.

Your notion that the GOP needs to pass their own brand of “Obamacare” is the reason we’re in the position we’re in. It is abject idiocy! RINOs also accept the Dems premise on an issue, and then want to adopt their own version.

Sorry, but people like you simply enable RINOs to continue on with their Dem-lite policies. Just freaking sad!

“Proud to say Louie is from Texas. He says it like it needs to be said”

We sorely need plain-spoken conservatives like Louie and Trey Gowdy to be the House leaders. Boner is General Dempsey without the medals. Just another “perfumed prince.”

I disagree with this, because we are sending American jobs to foreigners.

Bring back jobs to America.

First.

Ah no wonder! All my mothers family was from east Texas. I heard Louie talking on the radio and I fell in love with him because of his voice/accent. All the members of mom's family that I knew have passed and I don't know any of their descendants but I do still have family in east Texas.

If the Feds completely take over healthcare, there won’t be any jobs left.

I cannot believe what I’m hearing from you!

Paul Ryan...is this really you??

Agree. The newbie's need to run for local/state races first, to get experience and name recognition, before running for US Congress or Senate slots.

We need Louie Gohmert to run against Cornhead!!
